Yes OPEX reduced and plenty of hedging to protect against gas price weakness going forwards, and four new suspended wells to now bring online and take advantage of the higher natural gas prices.

HH gas price and forecast (EIA)...

Reads like a promising update looking forward, though with one or two downers.

Opex saved, DUC's action being set in motion.

Missed my call for $3 gas by 3 days... I said Q3 and we hit $3 on 3rd October

Not bad, not bad at all.

Only small volumes but interesting to note that the directors were purchasing shares under the employee share purchase plan on 7 September at $0.36 CAD so presumably they are anticipating higher prices. (Today = $0.33 CAD.)

It is a wicked chart as it was just teasing us with $3! Maybe it will revisit $3+ and stay there when the weather gets colder.

Just noticed that! A tad above $3 as I type.
Now HH just needs to stay above $3. TSX:SOU is a bit slow to follow on from this, maybe later!

That's a relief we don't want Sunak anywhere near this! He's done enough damage elsewhere already.

A small slither of comfort is that Southern Central move Tories continue to drop towards the 5 yr average due to gas burn for air con in the continuing heatwave .HH might get to $3 in a week or two - overall US inventories around 8% up on 5 yr average and 19% on 2022.Premiums in Transco 4 and 5 should be strong

I would say $5m minimum : these are longer laterals at 5400ft with more frac stages.

Costs are water, propane and frac crew. The higher the horsepower the higher the cost

...Did you mean proppant rather than propane (auto-correct?)? Obv they need gas/some fuel to run the fraccing pumps...

This is a barge pole stock!! The accounts look horrific: I'm no accountant but royalty payments outstanding =$6m (some sort of dispute)!Debt $16m cash and cash equivalent $2mCash burnt in 6 months $26m! All on capex which was an eye watering $37m in H1 - to produce diddly squat....Tranche B of credit facility terminates at end Sept 23 What happens then?12% interest on debt!! Current liabilities ie due within a year $20m Long term liabilities inc decomm and debt $20m19% of revenue goes to royalty holders!hTTps://southernenergycorp.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Southern-Energy-FS-2023-06-30-final.pdf
