Many posters.

Many agendas.

Make your own investment decisions not based on anyone here so that you can sleep easy at night.....

LT - no issues with anything you say.....I wasn't criticising someone's trading tactics, it's none of my business and I invest/trade too and certainly not to make a loss so I'd be a hypocrite.....the simple fact is that RP has chosen SOLG to invest/trade in which is fine......but using emotive language when the share price doesn't behave the way he wants it to on that particular day is a tad annoying......it's ironic that it's the volatility of late that created his opportunity to make a quick in/out trade (and fair play to him and others that took advantage).....now I know his motives, I'll go back to lurking but it was an itch that I needed to scratch and now I fully understand why he posts in that manner.....atb

PMF, can't argue with CGP being eejits and consistently missing deadlines does reduce trust.

We do start to get into conspiracy theory territory when believing news flow is being managed for self-interest BUT it could be managed for other reasons.

Personally, I don't have a problem with Nick. He is a straight talking, hands-on, just bloody do it type individual. As I've mentioned in the last few days, I don't think he's the best person to communicate on behalf of the Company and so I would allow others to takeover the task leaving Nick to do what he does best.

I think we should avoid criticising others for their trading tactics. I don't believe RP posted about his trades intending to brag. It provided an interesting strategy which could potentially be used by others if there is another discovery.

You are kidding surely...?

"you seem fixated on your end game..."

If anyone on here isn't, they want their heads testing...

I'm in a position to buy and sell shares whenever I want...if NM sold he would trash the share price and it would be totally out of keeping with what he has committed to...

however...in general your post reads as if SOLG should be some sort of long term benevolent fund...

So let me be clear beyond doubt...I'm here to make as much money as is reasonable in as short a time as possible...

Meanwhile NM has said more than once that hw would look after private investors...frankly the only PI he's looking after is himself...and according to his statements he has a much longer horizon than mine...

so yes...I would welcome a bid from a major...I am confident it would not be a lowball because they would be wasting their time...and I'm equally confident that if it wasn't a 'knockout', their would be at least one counterbid...

In the meantime NM should be doing everything he can to get the price up as high as possible as soon as possible...

Why? Because that p[ushes up the level of any possible bid and...

Given that there will inevitably be an equity element to the funding, it minimises our dilution...

Now please tell us what your reason for being invested in SOLG is...?

RP - So, in summary.....cornerstone are 'eejits'......lse posters are 'numpties'.......and with regards SOLG, you're 'filled with concern', 'starting to feel a betrayal of trust' and think that NM is 'managing newsflow for his own self serving interests'......apart from that, are you happy with things in general?.....you seem fixated on your end game which is ironic that at the same time you accuse NM of being 'self serving'.....last time I checked he holds even more shares than your '900k' so has more skin in the game.....you even boasted of your 'trading' skills recently when you bought/sold/bought back about 200k in shares......can you imagine if NM did that, I bet you'd be furious!......newsflash, NM/SOLG are building a business that is focused on bringing huge resources to the surface, ensuring the host country/people are well rewarded and shareholders see a return on their investment at a time/date that is infinite but with many exit points along the way......he's done ok building this from almost a standing start to an MCAP in the high hundreds of millions with (likely) further 'major discoveries' to come.....have a day off!......you might just get a sense of perspective......

RP, thanks for the explanation. I'm sure we will have updates on Porvenir (I expect something either tomorrow or early next week at the latest).

Their message is we will only hear about Blanca and La Hueca if they find something to report. It's disappointing if they don't, particularly as they have continued to drill at La Hueca. I'm not sure what they would gain from withholding information on La Hueca or Blanca though?

The PFS is more intriguing. The only reason I can think not to publish, if it is complete, is behind the scenes funding discussions or possibly even a bid. To my mind, these are valid reasons to delay publication and a successful conclusion would end up helping shareholders. I don't see what personal benefit Nick would get from suppressing publication.

LT I'm in no doubt that news is being held back...

The delay in the PFS was announced on the day it was originally due...

NM raised $100m from FNV, more than enough to get the PFS done by now...even allowing for COVID its been in process for about six months already...

The Rio rigs were supposed to be mobilising in October...

We surely have enough from Porvenir for a meaningful update and...

Blanca and La Hueva have disappeared into the ether...

I am in no doubt that Mather is managing the news flow for his own self serving reasons, rather than looking after the private investors as he promised..

The share price was at 46p when POR and RIO were just locations on a map...

We should be way north of here with copper at multi year highs if the PR had been managed even half competently...and no I'm NOT blaming Eliza...this supposed 'major miner...BHP of Ecuador...is being run by an individual with a small company approach...

AIMO as usual...

Thanks Pob. Interesting that he is already talking about Porvenir taking over as our lead project and the opportunity to extract value from our other locations - comment that SOLG's main value is not in Alpala.

Very positive about the company's other prospects. I hadn't heard that the company was known as the Vodafone of the AIM market due to its high liquidity.

RP, what meaningful news do you want? I have voted in favour of all resolutions.

It appears unlikely we will have the PFS or contingent funding. We should have more Porvenir news and maybe Rio, La Hueca or Blanca. They won't be able to magic up the PFS if it isn't ready.

I said yesterday that I'm not convinced the AGM will be anything other than routine. Having said that, I suspect there may be protest votes which won't change the outcome but which will act as a warning to the Board. I'm thinking NCM and CGP voting against certain Board appointments. So long as BHP remain on-side, it will be academic.

AGM could be interesting - especially the voting - given the major holders it won’t be difficult to work out who voted in a particular way, this could indicate any strategy or alliances.

Today’s call to VOTE is a clear indication that Nick needs all holders to vote in accordance with the recommendations.

The only thing that strikes me is SOLG and CGP jointly publish the PFS and DFS. Could CGP delay publication or would SOLG be able to publish anyway?

The only strategy left open to CGP, is to obstruct. As zoros has pointed out to them, they have no chance of raising the $450m they would need post DFS and so if the DFS is published, CGP will lose their 15% stake in ENSA very shortly thereafter (I believe some of the build money can be demanded immediately on publishing the DFS, payable a few weeks later). The only other routes to their salvation are:

1. SOLG deciding to sell ENSA - very unlikely (A farm-in or JV would not necessarily accommodate CGP).
2. A SOLG bidder who needs support from CGP to succeed (possible, but a long-shot).
3. SOLG returning with a revised bid (why would they?).

Refusing the SOLG deal was an amazing example of self-harm.

This was my latest response to a CGP holder telling me where to go:

@Zoros @ohwhatanight...thank you for your reply. My 'ramblings. started when the BoD turned hostile towards Solg. I wanted to know why CGP holders preferred to stay with a dying company when Solg offered them a better future. You cannot dispute that there is ZERO chance of CGP finding the $450M needed to pay the bills once production starts, can you? Why stay with CGP when it only has irons in the fire at Cascabel, when you could buy into the bigger picture? Every single day you deliberate, your stock will decline until of course you default on the payments. Bear in mind, NM could ask for payments towards the construction costs as he goes along. This would mean asking CGP for cash, as of 2022. No-one wants CGP. Why would they, they get your 15% for $3.5million en route to production!!! Why spend 100's of millions now acquiring you??? And then find $350+ million to pay Solg for the build costs??? Madness. You are all living in cloud cuckoo land.

You couldn't make it up...

Cornerstone angrily rebuffed the Solgold takeover saying it massively undervalued the shares...

Their latest presentation implies the shares are worth up to $18...

Last night they announced a desperate Equity raise to keep the lights on, at $5 a share and the shares hit $5.40...

They'll go lower yet...

You couldn't make it up...they're as deluded as that yellow rinse guy is about the US election...
