One gets the feeling that the CFO has perhaps been pursuing a personal agenda against the interests of Solg?

When you are CFO to a number of “small” companies you are effectively a bean counter with virtually no say in company strategy. They are all related businesses and I wouldn’t read too much into his departure and the market’s reaction is confirming his lack of importance to the business and the bigger picture

Sounds like more of a problem with him than the company ! Onward

Solgold has made so much progress in the last few years and I suspect we are due a serious upgrade in the position of CFO. We’ve had 3 decent NED’s appointed recently and I suspect we’ve got a more experienced CFO lined up.

That is very plausible.
With immediate effect usually indication of falling out or being sacked.
Nothing moves SOLG share price at the moment.
Hold on Solgers.

LF, I suspect we will never know for sure but financing activities would usually be the responsibility of the CFO. I have always found it strange that Ingo did not report to the CFO.

I get the impression that the CFO has been sacked, but for what?

Ok, let's make up any nonsense. Look Barrick is controlling the share price. Take over by Barrick is a done deal.

I would rather have a CFO that wished to stay or a business that didnt feel the need to remove a CFO

Who would you rather have as CFO? The unknown that has just gone with immediate effect, of Ingo?

I never quite like resignations with immediate effect. Especially a CFO!

Just listened to the Nick Mather Interview on Morgan Financial Ltd, MD & CEO,Solgold. 29 July 2018
From Noosa, Australia and Interview by Kitco Editor, Daniela Cambone.

N.Mather:
Yellow light area.
Next breakout-Ecuador. 25% of world*s copper.
Pierre Lasonde Curve-Discovery
Newcrest interested, majors.
Gold bonanza 600g/t
Puts us in front.
Fortescue-iron - iron province.

My Comment:
One of the most enjoyable interviews about the Solgold*s Ecuador rationale.
A very insightful interview and the playbook of Fortescue for iron ore as Solgold is for copper. Everything clear now.

It seems gold stocks got slammed today but copper stocks did really well. It seems solg must come under gold stocks. Hmm, name change needed to solcop.

Nick Mather & Indgo Hofmaier on London South East, 1 Oct 2020

From what I could hear Mr Mather mentioned F i v e T i e r 1*s.

NICK MATHER - INTERNATIONAL MINING & RESOURCE CONFERENCE [MARC] @2019
DGR Global, Australia.

Talked a look in the presentation on SOLGOLD:

"Based on V A L U E rather than price. Close PRICE & V A L U E.
Ecuador unexplored province on earth.
REPLICABLE- Cascabel -turn this co into a COPPER GOLD M A J O R.
BHP invested at 45p.

14 projects, 9 taken over for $5.7 bn." Mentioned $3bn advantage: Solg.

My Comment:
So, in the London South East presentation as above on 1 Oct 2020 is consistent with the printed version from Mining Journal. Also emphasis on value.
