06/11/2020 13:54 | LT Your post directed to me had 5 votes up. So, one can eliminate a few eg RP,DD. I also note that you did not comment for balance about the pounding I got from RP that was to the extreme? I do not comment on your posts except you said that activists do not care about the law and international courts kinda of thing although a former Deputy Minister said otherwise as Ecuador has lost a big international case to Cheveron involving billions. Everyone is tolerent of others as they have their own style and if you want to calculate pence by pence, by all means. Someone commented about Pob on CEO.CA CGP in recent times even though he does not post anything except links and short excerpts. Someone then replied, dont give pob aggravation. What does this mean? Well, by trying to pick on pob, the only reason is to try to find fault when there is none as such. RP said this forum can do without me as everyone can do the work. I agree that where not welcomed, then best to leave it to others and if people are frightened out of their wits eg newbies etc, then, it is not for the lack of trying and trying to also give and not just take. One must bow to the majority but I have to say that if I were to apply the same critique, one has to say that intolerence is only 1 way. I post on another site but I have received no pounding. Yes, I can provide brevity. Someone posted that John Meyer said Solgold has good fortune and he said the results were good. He did not say that exactly as he is careful. Why? To directly staate the results are good means that just on 1 hole with 1/2 the core would not be looked at in a favourable light professionally. So, I quoted exactly what he said and he definately did not say that. Hence, lengthy. I thank those who have been made more insightful as to the grades we [shareholders] are looking for. What has happened here on this forum is a repeat of what has happened elsewhere, hence the methodologies of pounding are the same. Yes, I do have to make a stand as the purpose is to rubbish establish rules by which the financial community evaluates - yes, for a time, traders make up their own rules and can do so if their voice is loud enough. I trust this fully explains matter. I am picked on for using * instead of astroptrophe. Why do I do so? My fingers are long and its easier for me to press cap and * on the top right hand side situated at No 8 - a matter of convenience. So, picking is quite easy. | ![]() jlondon
06/11/2020 12:14 | Bots might drag this back to 27p to fill the gap, but meanwhile gold and copper are rising and Solg keeps finding more of the stuff, at some point the real world will get recognised. | ![]() lefrene

06/11/2020 11:55 | LT and all- Sorry for two posts as the screen froze and I pressed again. I have always wondered why: 1] If one is invested heavily as people say, then why do people only talk about environmentalists and that they take no notice of the fact that if the mining concessions and agreements are LEGALLY BROKEN, they would have the hordes of international arbitration cases? For this reason, there has been a CHANGE IN THE CONSITUTIONAL COURT that ALL CONCESSIONAL/AGREEME 2] Nothing is happening with Mirador [Chinese owned] or Fruta del does and now many more near them eg Solaries and the other big discovery of +1BN tonnes. 3] So, the reality on the ground prove balance. Lastly, why all this FILLING THE GAP? According to Americans, gaps need not be filled - does it mean that there is a cross-stitch? 4] Yes, there are RISKS but there is also REWARD and all MUST BE PRESENTED, not just the LONE VOICES that Solgold is TOO RISKY. PRESENT ALL THE FACTS. I DONT HAVE TO POST - I research for myself. It takes time to gather it in notes. If it is for myself, I will not need notes, copy links etc. I just run the quick checks. Also, many contribute as I do not have the time to run through all the sites and obscure sites - so a SHARED TASK which I have appreciated and I contribute and not just take. On the other board, NO ONE WILL LET ANYONE just go on to A NEG SLANT without ALLOWING a BALANCED OUT INFO. In the Times or in Parliamentary discussions, DOES ONE NOT HEAR both sides of the coin? I have just heard the former PM and she makes valid points for the people - not just one way street. I trust this explains my position. Yes, I am a holder and I think that scare stories must be BALANCED with some factual info going on the ground as well. Sorry, not editing as its lunch time. --- I was about to share what I heard from a N.Mather interview about funding, community support etc which has not been posted before which will help us understand. I have done enough research for myself and I have some idea of the possible outcomes on whether Solgold remains independent or not? If they remain independent despite a proxy fight, I also have an idea what I am going to do for self. One has to look further ahead and what the catalysts the market looks for. Mather in his interview touched on that. I am pleased that on the other board, there are enough people there to counter what I said. The last time round, the stories were the same so everyone knows what it is about-SELL or that is what is being intimated by the scare stories one sided? Otherwise, why not BALANCE IT OUT with the latest CONSTITUTIONAL COURT DECISION -all GRANTED CONCESSIONS/LICENCES WILL NOT BE REPUDIATED? If the whole lot of licences granted with big discoveries [world class] are repudiated, then it will have to be all fought out in the international courts - yes, of course, there is risk but the hoards wont just sit and just lose billions. | ![]() jlondon

06/11/2020 11:19 | From pob's Mining Journal article... "could just be the tip of the iceberg" SolGold's hunt for more porphyries accelerates Solgold is a well-known company in mining circles for its large Cascabel porphyry copper-gold project in northern Ecuador, but it could just be the tip of the iceberg as its regional drilling progamme gathers pace, head of exploration Jason Ward has told Mining Journal. | goodgrief
06/11/2020 09:49 | I am sorry to hear that some are at a loss with this share, some significantly more wiser than I. I feel fortunate to have been able to buy in at the low of 21p but your research, positivity and confidence has only further boosted my own confidence in SOLG.I could have cashed out at 40p however decided not to, I contemplated cashing out on the fall at 38-37p but chose to ride the wave. The value of investment to one maybe significant but nothing to another and whilst my investment is far smaller than most on here, I can say my portfolio only comprises of 2 shares currently with SOLG holding most. Good luck all | ![]() jarega85

06/11/2020 09:19 | First. Thanks LT. Second I apologise to anyone who has been offended or annoyed by any of my posts. I was falsely accused wrongly of telling porkies a few years ago, which led to me posting copies of my contract notes. Since then J have been very open about my strategy and dealings. I apologise if this comes across as immodest, that is not my intention. I will be more circumspect in future. Finally, the profits I have made in ATYM, SOLG, ARCM, JAY etc. have been directly the consequence of sound information and share suggestions made by wiser people than me such as Lowtrawler. Following the principle of 'pass it on' I have simply wanted to share research and suggestions I have benefited from with other people. As indeed JL does. Meanwhile MK, who I also respect, the maths says we are down c£90,000 but I saved a further £30,000 loss and have gained in the shares I bought, e.g. HOC up 25%... You must have many times the 'loss' that we have if you are many times bigger, but neither of us cares because we believe in this share long term and we will have our 'payday' in the sun... Best regards to all and apologies once again... | ![]() rougepierre
06/11/2020 08:52 | Sorry my mistake the timelines for fiscal negotiations haven't changed - was end 2020 in last presentation as well - misremembered. | ![]() mwv1
06/11/2020 08:50 | Pob69, Thanks for those comments by Jason Ward. They raise the interesting question of how best Solg can add more value (rather than the valuation metrics discussed much here). Re Cascabel, I may be mistaken but I still think they have not found the feeder to Alpala that Steve Garwin said could be very high grade. Not long ago there were some visuals of consistent cores that could have been found in sterilisation drilling but nothing more was said. Re Porvenir, Solg say they have found a cluster of porphyrys. They are drilling Cacharposa now with "shock and awe". But I think that at some point, say in Q2 next year, it might add more value to put a drill in Bartolo and another of the promising targets. In short, confirming the cluster of prorphyrys at an early stage could add greater value than another deep hole in Cacaharposa. Just a thought and IMHO of course. | pecker1
06/11/2020 08:46 | Pob69 The timelines slide of the presentation now shows the fiscal negotiations completing for Alpala this quarter (previously was mid 2021). If they achieve this, it is a great step forward to know the tax terms are set with the government, also great to do before next years election. | ![]() mwv1
06/11/2020 08:44 | Stop pointing your finger then swanvesta. Judging others as miscreants. | ![]() greenelf
06/11/2020 08:39 | greenelf, in the world these days so much seems to revolve around personality and character assassination. But if you look carefully, the real miscreants are the ones pointing the finger, creating a stir, while apparently butter would not melt in their mouths. I can see what's going on even if you can't. | ![]() swanvesta
06/11/2020 08:23 | No material changes to corporate presentation SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #porvenir #cascabel #ecuador $CGP | ![]() pob69
06/11/2020 08:14 | There is no need to mention specific amounts; your own private business. Yes, a specific person does keep banging on about it endlessly. Easy to see when it is an ego thing. | ![]() greenelf
06/11/2020 08:12 | I think the point of mentioning large holdings vs relatively small trading pots is not to brag but to ward off accusations of deramping. But like so much these days it's been taken out of context to distort perceptions and outlaw balanced discussion. | ![]() swanvesta
06/11/2020 08:11 | Thought Rio drilling was supposed to have started late October? | ![]() greenelf
06/11/2020 08:06 | Interesting Jason Ward interview SOLG $SOLG $SOLG.L #porvenir #cascabel #ecuador $CGP Interesting stuff but this peeked my interest... "...Rio Amarillo in northern Ecuador where it aims to start drilling before year" "Exploration at Cascabel is also far from over....and additional exploration upside elsewhere on the property package....We need to know what is throughout the entire concessions as we don't want to build a plant on another porphyry. Aguinaga has no deep holes yet. At Chinambcito we need to drill more and Tandayama America needs to be sterlised," | ![]() pob69 |
