JL just defended his case against RP ..

Pleaee dont go into major holdings as its not inportant both you and RP seem to think it is which does not help for a BB united large or small everyone should be the same . You both know my holdings are far larger than probably yours and RP,s put together but it does not make me cleverer or wiser than anyone on the Bb .i am certainly one of the less educated .

RP Always goes on about how great he is by selling 300k at 42p which has saved him 60k he forgets to add his portfolio since his 300k sell is now 180k down on the other 900k he didnt sell . .

The only thing that a large holding offers is the chance to lose or win more money .

"Every time the price moves a bit here there's all these posts claiming a leak, someone knows something, this is being held down by nefarious forces, this has been taken down to allow insiders one last chance to get in before the rerate (how many last chances do they need?!), MM's know something's brewing, they want your shares, CGP are selling, NCM are selling etc etc

Really though? Seems to me much more likely that actually most of the "sticky" money that's likely to invest in Solg at this stage is already invested, and holding. PIs are topping up here and there, some are top slicing (RedKnight), maybe a few funds doing the same... But most of the volume is probably just traders and algos bashing the share price up and down in a range.

Yes it got a good boost with Porvenir news plus a bit of overexcitement last month about the end of the standstill. I think it just got overbought. Bear in mind that all these algos, momentum strategies, day traders etc aren't sitting there poring over Solg and it's news in anywhere near the depth we all are. Lots of them are just screening thousands of stocks a day and piling into anything that's moving. The move up from 25/26p into 30s probably attracted a lot of short term momentum trackers, the price over extended up into the 40ps, momentum tailed off and now it's come back down as it's been sold off for a short term gain. Maybe it's stabilised now and will sit around low-mid 30s until the next good bit of news or the Porvenir discovery begins to be properly priced in and a bit more sticky money comes in.

I think trying to divine things from staring at the order book all day might tell you something about the short term but it just seems you can see any pattern you want to fit whatever theory you have if you stare at it long enough. Long term, we all agree this is undervalued and one way or another should go much higher from here, but it's not going to go up in a nice straight line"

I note operative word " With surface mineralisation" - rings a bell.

So, 3-3.5km, I hope they will test to those levels.

Remember what Angry Geo said re: How about finding a surface Alpala. Hope Rio is the one given what N.Mather said as above in my post from the said Solgold RNS.

So, RED BUTTON awaited. Alpala strike of 2.2km is from Solgold* RNS of 21 Apr 2017.

Expecting ANY day now to get a RNS to say that they have started drilling and at depth of 16.7m kinda thing as they did at P r o v e n i r [Solg RNS Provenir 16 Sep 2020]. That*s Solgold*s style so hoping this is the same type for Rio Amarillo.

My Comment:
Vertical 1,500m is going to be better than Solarius Resources*s Wirantz, South Ecuador at 1,010m. Alpala has a strike of 2.2km [to check type Alpala 2.2km strike into search engine] so Rio Amarillo at 12m long will be something to look forward to. However, grades can be made up by tonnage/size given the length and if similar to Alpala, then ALL GOOD.

From an earlier article, it was said by Ben Whistler, Solgold*s technical mgr that they could go down to 3-3.5km down but there is nothing said in the latest RNS so have to wait and see.

REDCLOUD*s note today said P O R V E N I R , potential or could be Alpala 2.0.
N.Mather, CEO, Solgold as above : Rio could be another Alpala, so potential Alpala 3.0?

Investors Chronicle & John Meyer on VoxPodcast said that "Value is in new discoveries." N.Mather also said so in his interview yesterday with Business Focus which was posted.

Solgold share price 31.80p, Mkt Cap £650m per J.Meyer.

WAITING FOR THE RED BUTTON FOR THE RNS - any will do espcially PFS/Funding Update or Rio Amarillo.

MK ....I enjoy JL input far more than any other contributor and don’t want to hear about “firm” bids being left in the market when clearly the term FIRM is being used in the wrong context. We can all job backward like RP ....but what’s the the point asides inflating ones ego ?
Plenty more fish ....agreed, I took offence at the term Numpty when clearly he was the Numpty ! Didn’t appear on here or LSE hoping that the Numpties had forgotten. Not in his character to apologise ....
He also got found out on LSE when giving BS about the Poseidon share debacle which happened in 1969 and not 1980 when he started work ....it was hilarious

JL has done nothing wrong , infact he has added information to the BB which is a good thing with Jl and Pob69 feeding the BB it can only be a good thing .

The likes of rougepierre and indeed myself are not in the same class . The Bb doesnot want to hear how much money we are or are not making and for my part i will try and tone down my bullish ness
And opinions which will make it a more enjoyable place for all ..

My Comment:
I will plump for the above as that is from N.M. in his LKND. No1 is of course Alpala.

However, yesterday*s article on Business Focus [N.Mather interview], it was said that the best 5 inc Rio Amarillo, Provenir AND La Hueca Target 6.
But the other 2 ARE NOT MENTIONED IN THE ARTICLE.

So, not sure if it is LA BLANCA OR LA HUECA TARGET 6? There is STILL ONE MISSING as it mentioned 5.

Ta Ta, going to be a long journey. I cant even think of the 13 prospects that Red Cloud mentioned or the Business Focus article yesteray relating to N.Mather*s interview. I might just fall off my chair.

Meanwhile...

I think today's rise is a combination of:

US Election fog beginning to clear...

Shorters closing/investors seeing the short term bottom...

Gold price flying because of stimulus/Fed balance sheet...up 3.5% in last 24 hours...

Copper price up on the back of risk on moves in the US Markets (S&P up almost 10 % in four days)...

I didn't buy back because I'm very happy with my core holding and have invested the spare cash in gold/silver stocks pre today's rise and want to hold those...

Onwards and upwards...
