LF, the FNV $50m can only be used on Alpala.

MK, it would be astonishingly bad timing. Before PFS, before proving up Porvenir, before Rio? They have enough cash to deliver all these things before doing another placing. Any attempt to do a placing with the intention of diluting current institutions would be seen as a major breach of corporate governance and unite all the institutions against us. Nick would be finished.Maybe they're in talks to sell la Hueca?

Why would you think a placing is called for? There's still $50 million that can be called upon from FNV if wanted. Are you short?

My thoughts remain that a placing will be done in the next day or so.looks like around 38p .

Probably take the average of the last 3 trading days .
All imho of course could be wrong .

mam fach, we will only sell Alpala if cornerstone win the requisitioned meeting. They will need support from BHP and Newcrest which might be given if Alpala is then sold to them for, say 40p. SOLG reckon we would have around a 10p tax charge and so we will have sold Alpala for 30p. Great for cornerstone, who then control SOLG, BHP and Newcrest. Bad for us.

A cloud with a silver lining.
Market doesn't like uncertainty.
Was surprised Ingo Hofmaiger seemed confident they would accept offer.
I though there wasn't much hope offer would be accepted.
Find out soon enough.

If the requisitioned meeting is called, I expect it will have a negative impact on the price. If the bid fails today, the meeting request will likely be made tomorrow. Until that is out of the way, there will be a real cloud over us.

Will be glad to see Cornerstone issue( or debacle) resolved one way or another.
No doubt been holding price down.
Tomorrow should be even more interesting.
Lot of buying today but not reflected in price YET.

MK, I think a fair value, within our share price, for Alpala at the moment would be about 40p (actual 24p). I expect the PFS, provided it is accompanied by an outline funding proposal, to close 5 or 6p of that 16p gap. The remaining 10p is a bit of a mystery which I can only put down to Ecuador risk aversion.Big picture, our direction of travel is up and the expected news flow will support step changes in pricing. At MRE, if Porvenir is the same size and style of mining as Alpala, it will be worth around 20p rather than the current 12p. In reality, I expect it to be larger and be at least partially open pit. Those 2 factors would make it much more than 20p. I am expecting Rio Amarillo to be even better than Porvenir.

I thought the DGR raise was to pay off Tribeca, which otherwise would have converted debt into equity and held SOLG shares as collateral...NM no doubt wanted complete control over those shares in the event that there is a bid to fight off...

AIMHO as usual...

The recent retrace in Solgold share price would also be a good place to put some of the DGR Global's new money, if it is not viewed as a conflict of interests. However after reading the document I think the money is for something else.

Is there much mileage in the Chile project with Cornerstone? I was looking on their website, but not that informative

With respect 12p does not even cover the shortage in Alpala .and i am not talking about an offer of 55p which would be refused anyway .

I bought more today and expect us to be in the 40,s by close .

MK

It will take a while for yesterday`s selling to be absorbed by the buy volume today
but overall LOW is right in that the direction of travel is positive as the asset base grows such that with patience the market will acknowledge this and much a higher share price will result.

Seller may be Cornerstone trying to keep Solgold price down, this would then make it less attractive to smaller shareholders if larger ones (in the know) intend refusing the 11 for 1 offer to go down another path. Just a thought.

MK, we are 12p up since announcing Porvenir. That's roughly half the value assigned to Alpala. For a single drill hole, that's not bad. We will get a similar response for Rio and improved pricing as more holes are drilled. The price got ahead of itself in market terms even though we both think it is underpriced.

Jason Ward presenting (15mins) at Arlington Group Big Copper Porphyry Wave-Riders Club

Really interesting event so far with a number of interesting presentations.

Alpala - in the hands of the engineers now. High probability of finding something much bigger elsewhere in Ecuador

76 projects throughout the country - Blueprint starts with social engagement

Porvenir - cluster of porpheries

Rio Amarillo - 3 porpheries

La Hueca - 6 porpheries identified with drilling so far
