Just a thought, maybe La Hueca is the rabbit in the hat? Announce 2 drill holes complete with assay results.

I will add new directors into the mix as well, as stated by Nick Mather "in the next month" in his presentation 29/9....

LF, Porvenir and Rio are our 2 top targets. La Hueca and Blanca are on our list of priorities but not in the same calibre. What has happened to la Hueca? It began drilling weeks before Porvenir.

So did it go up yesterday because some got wind of this news?

If there are another dozen prospects of this calibre to come, (let alone the other 62), then Solg must be the biggest ripest plum ever there was, waiting to be plucked by the big and greedy.

I'm surprised by the muted reaction today - but the wider market isn't helping at the moment.
They have basically said that this hole has proved that
1) the porphyry they predicted is there
2) It is mineralised
3) It has significantly higher grades then Alpala
4) It is at surface
5) And now because the mineralisation runs so much deeper and wider than originally expected they can say it is huge - over 1000m deep and up to 1000m wide.

Now just have to prove the grades in the core - drill 2 (started)
Show the width of the core - drill 3 (starts end of the month)
Show the length of the porphyry - drill rigs 3 and 4 mobilised in November

Next 2 months are going to be very interesting

Well done to all those who sold yesterday and who undoubtedly re purchased this morning.

After years of waiting, I am happy to wait patiently for a few more months, riding the inevitable bumps along the way.

Timing looks like we could have tier for Rio Amarillo provisionally confirmed for Xmas. Best present ever?

We will likely get a first view on Rio Amarillo prospects around the same time as assay results from the Porvenir core next month.

Just as important, we need an early view on whether Porvenir will be suitable as an open pit. That would massively alter the economics and timeline.

Results from the second hole through the core when taken together with the first hole will allow the more skilled geologists to make inferences about likely mineral content. Assuming no later unexpected results, the inferences are likely to be usable as a preliminary assessment on tier. Will we have our second tier 1 provisionally confirmed next month?

Important to remember that this announcement was only about confirming the scale of find. Job done. The other fluffy wording is just that.In a couple of weeks, we'll get some assay results and we can see how dripping with copper it is outside the core. The second hole through the core will take about 3 weeks to complete and so assay results mid to late next month.

What a stonker!

NM key quote: "The cost and time savings and efficiencies Solgold will enjoy as we replicate discoveries are immense."

IMHO, a hugely important benefit for shareholders as this will bring down the costs of discovery, speed up development and greatly reduce future dilution from fundraising. In short, more value added sooner.
