10/10/2020 15:01 | Leave the strategy to NM. Just make sure you are invested. But i'ts not too late to buy in. Still massively undervalued. We are on the runway ready for take off. IMHO | ![]() mam fach
10/10/2020 14:32 | Asiamet: They had this issue of two projects. Now, the smaller project is going to be listed with quite a huge mkt cap. Then, Beutong will be further drilled deeper. This was where Liberum talked of Cascabel on 8 Oct 2020 --- Nick Mather: How does John Cronford thoughts extend to 5-6 Cascabels? We know of Alpala, Rio & Provenir currently. So, that is food for thought. Will Nick Mather now hive the other projects out for a separate listing once they have reached Maiden Resource Statement etc say? That will solve matters as to Alpala with its valuation and not coming free with everything else. I think I read that John Cronford was from the industry so that*s how the investment bankers may be seeing things. Certainly, it solved AsiaMet*s conundrum. Maybe, we should ask Cronford on Twitter about 5-6 Cascabel*s - would love that. j.l Sat 10 Oct 2020 | ![]() jlondon
10/10/2020 14:05 | Mirabeau, they invest to accelerate the drilling across all the projects and for developing Alpala. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo

10/10/2020 12:58 | 'BHP invest again increasing their stake '. And how exactly how will they do that? I doubt we'll see another placing so that avenue's cut off to them. So their only other option is to buy someone else's stake and I doubt that someone else will sell knowing what SOLG is now sat on with recent news BHP will have to cough up on an offer that satisfies Mather | ![]() mirabeau
10/10/2020 12:48 | What about this scenario, BHP invest again increasing their stake and buying at a premium to the sp, say 50-55p. Thereby blocking anyone else from being able to bid and giving them the time to see how the other projects develop over the next few quarters before eventually making an offer for the entire company next year. BHP won't be rushed into anything, they are to big and know how to play these games. Just depends whether a smaller major has ambitions to grow in size and really likes the assets of SOLG. | ![]() the count of monte_cristo
10/10/2020 10:35 | Agree next week is going to be interesting. No idea how its going to pan out. Hang on to your shares. 75p would certainly be a let down for me. Holding on for much much more. Onward and upward Solgers. Bet NM got few sneaky RNS's planned. GLA | ![]() mam fach
10/10/2020 10:08 | Mk, as you say, an interesting week ahead. My best guess is we will remain trading between 40p and 50p. Any breakout will depend on 2 factors:1. Whether BHP take any action on exiting standstill.2. Whether we get a PFS with outline funding published. We all know that cornerstone should capitulate but we also know they are very unlikely to do so. In either case, it won't move our price by more than a couple of pence anyway. | ![]() lowtrawler
10/10/2020 09:10 | mk, You mention Barrick. Given the size of Alpala, block caving and that Ecuador is a relatively "new" jurisdiction, it would not surprise me to see a JV between Barrick and BHP (say 40/40 with Solg on free carry with 20% or whatever NM can negotiate). Porvenir is crucial. Confirmation drilling of a major deposit that is relatively high grade and open pit could create a more suitable, less costly and speedier vehicle to pursue the ambition to become another "BHP in Ecuador". | pecker1
10/10/2020 07:12 | 11th of October until the 15th of October . What a week it could be . Cornerstone share holders vote on Solgolds offer currently 30% above cornerstone share price . BHP are let off the leash . Porvenir drilling results updated Add possible news La HUECA drilling PFS Blanca early update . JV news with Barrick rising to the top Of the list . Might be a real let down or maybe end at 75p . Take your pick . | ![]() mknight

09/10/2020 19:10 | Fathom GeophysicsToday 19:08 '1w ago' 'Fathom Geophysics is following SolGold Plc's recent drillcore logging news at their Porvenir project with great interest: Visible chalcopyrite seen from 15.9m to the current depth (as at announcement time) of 525.3m, with the chalco-to-pyrite ratio increasing downhole. This is a promising-sounding follow up to their comprehensive announcement back on 7th May 2019. We're enjoying Figure 3 of yesterday's announcement, which includes the drillhole trace along with the dashed outline of the 90th percentile threshold obtained from incorporating soil sampling data into 3D geochemical footprint modeling. Very much looking forward to future announcements about what assays and planned additional drillholes reveal.' - I think Fathom is working with SOLG at Porvenir | ![]() mirabeau
09/10/2020 17:39 | What a really encouraging week for Solgold, in many ways a steady undramatic daily rise repeated daily is more telling than 10% plus days followed by drops | ![]() cbeadle
09/10/2020 17:37 | Would I be right in saying that if someone other than Solgold buys Cornerstone's 15% of Alpala, that purchaser would still be liable for the costs Solgold has incurred in developing it,which could be quite considerable. If so any ideas how much? | ![]() knil
09/10/2020 17:33 | As a matter of interest Mknight does L2 show a big order in the background. Last two finishes have had big buys at just over the closing price. | ![]() husbod
09/10/2020 17:08 | Another big buy at close, 92,884 shares. Bit of a pattern developing. Someone accumulating big time? | ![]() husbod
09/10/2020 17:04 | HERE HERE! Self serving idiots...where are they going to get the cash to stay afloat? Hoping for a bid from BHP...? With the share price scrabbling around $6, the market doesn't think so... 11 shares in SOLG still worth $7.81... | ![]() rougepierre
09/10/2020 17:02 | I hope that for their "stubbornness" CGP get left holding the baby, don't get to raise circa $300 million, and get bought out for small change by Solg as Solg is entitled to do. Then let the CGP shareholders sue the directors! About time the tide turned in NM's favour. | ![]() lefrene
09/10/2020 16:30 | Stubbornness? That's very polite. | ![]() lowtrawler
09/10/2020 16:17 | 11 SOLG shares now worth $7.92...CGP down to $5.98.... Looks like the bid fails....when will the CGP PIs wake up and smell the coffee...they've been let down by their Board's stubbornness.... | ![]() rougepierre |
