Couldn’t agree more this is a typical market reaction SKG results were good but the market didn’t like the comment about December slow down nothing to worry about when the boss says the company hasn’t been in a better shape let’s wait for DSS trading update I’m sure all will be well with them also

Concern about energy costs is probably the answer with SKG.DS Smith in their statement on 8th December made the following comment "Our excellent procurement and risk management function ensured that our production was unaffected, with the impact of rising energy costs being mitigated by our three-year rolling energy hedging programme and a price benefit on external electricity sales."

Well we have something in common. I have just returned from walking our Border Collie in the beautiful fields that surround our village in Devon. He is highly intelligent and will shortly bring me a glass of red wine in his role of Bordeaux Collie.

I hesitate to make further predictions after my last guess at 350 by April/May 2023 being nearly achieved three months earlier than predicted. However we again have the classic inverse head and shoulders pattern with I suggest a new candlestick resistance neckline at 342, first established on 28/3/22. Much like the previous one at 300 this new one has to breach 342 and then prove that it is the new support line. If this occurs and news from the Company continues to be positive then 400/450 is my new target on a 12 month view. The added bonus of a decent dividend makes it for me a strong hold and a buy on any weakness. Hope the sun shines for you but make sure you do your own research before making any decision.
