02/5/2017 16:06 | Hazl I got burnt/cut trying to catch a the falling knife before the 20p deal was struck! Bought more in the minutes after the RNS. If you want look back at all my post going back late summer I put my neck on the table saying the funding will be done mi to high 20s when others on this board were calling sellers muppets circa 50p! So just calling as I see it now if you in on last years spike that's unlucky but at them highs(when i didn't hold)I was talking about a highly diluted funding which has now brought a medium term ceiling to the share (so 50p dream on) | dp1umb
02/5/2017 16:03 | To avoid stress for the foreseeable future it may be wise to stop obsessing over tick by tick moves in this name and revisit in August(ish) time. 26p is cheap; so too is 30p. There will now be considerable buying anywhere under 23.86p. We must wait until sufficient shares are transacted to move any further North. Until our pipers are paid we shall continue to dance to their tune. | ppvn
02/5/2017 15:59 | I initially got to thinking about SXX again when I was in RBW. This article touches on both. Since then I have seen nothing but recommendations. quote 'So, while Rainbow Rare Earths appears to have a lot of potential, I'll be sticking with the substantially de-risked Sirius for now.' Note 'de-risked' | hazl

02/5/2017 15:38 | Hazl, Don't know if you're referring to me or dp1umb but we are both holders of Sirius shares. Discussing the potential pitfalls in any investment does not make you a negative poster. More of a realist in my view. By proper analyst did you mean Johnwise? If so, I'll have a pint of what you're drinking! LOL NMRN | not my real name
02/5/2017 15:21 | Yawn...... crikey he's trying really hard isn't he? Must be worried. Of course assets go up and down in value but agriculture and food products will be very important in the future,as I understand it. Ha ha he's bringing out all the possible negatives for any share.....hoping one of them will stick. People are more likely to take notice of proper analysts, rather than negative posters like you I'm sure! IMO | hazl
02/5/2017 15:13 | NMRN that's if we get to production without much more dilution? Btw at least you can do maths unlike the fool article! the one people are highlighting 325p or something = £8b valuation STUPID! | dp1umb
02/5/2017 15:00 | Hi dp1umb, I think, not 100% sure, that the off-take agreement for 3.5m tonnes was done at $145/tonne so can't imagine anyone else will agree to pay any more than that. If Sirius cost of production figures are accurate that give a profit of around $90 a tonne (don't forget Gina is taking 5% off the top)so still gives gross of $900m a year (10mn tonnes per annum). Not bad for a current mkt val of just over 1bn. NMRN | not my real name
02/5/2017 14:54 | Potash apprentices to be trained by leading UK provider . | johnwise
02/5/2017 14:54 | Remember, DERAMPERS NEVER DERAMP A BAD SHARE. Watch the board for shares with no potential. They never have any derampers. Derampers only go after shares that are going upwards or have excellent potential to go up. Derampers get left behind | johnwise
02/5/2017 14:36 | NMRN your right on track are posts must have crossed! It's the price of are product , about 4 years ago (when the mail on Sunday started tipping) the price of potash was heading for $1000/t now it's about $200 and predicted to be around $150 by next year . Ok john will tell you about advantages (which there are) but it will always be pegged to the price of potash . This was the main reason that the funding was struck at 20p and it will be the reason this share won't boom . Don't get me wrong I see this now a legitimate long term highly risky investment but if you want fireworks go back to the AIM this isn't a penny stock anymore. | dp1umb
02/5/2017 14:22 | By Rupert Hargreaves "As construction of the mine progresses, and full production gets closer, it is likely investors will begin to place a higher value on the company’s shares. I have written before that when production starts, shares in the company could be worth as much as 330p, so investors all over the country will want to get in on the action." The bottom line "Overall Sirius’ recent gains have been driven by market dynamics, but as the company continues to develop its flagship potash project, more and more investors should flock to its offering which will likely drive further share price appreciation." 02/5/2017 14:17 | Hazl whats different today than a month ago you could of got back in at about 50% cheaper? Still nobody's spotted the elephant it huge and very important to the valuation today and in 5 years time when production hopefully kicks in . By the john know but he won't mention it! | dp1umb
02/5/2017 14:11 | dp1umb, Not really an unknown. Sirius plan to produce 10m tonnes but only have signed contracts for 3.5m tonnes. They will not get the stage 2 finance with those figures. They have addressed this City concern by appointing an additional sales team of very experienced fertilizer specialists so, hopefully, this will bear the required fruit. Johnidiot will quote figures of 5-8m tonnes but these include LOI, Options and MOU which are definitely NOT contracts. As soon as they have sufficient contracts in place to make the mine a realistic investment the City boys will pile in and the shares will undergo a significant re-rating but until then............? Source of quoted figures - Sirius Website search for sales agreements. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) is a nonbinding agreement between two or more parties outlining the terms and details of an understanding, including each parties' requirements and responsibilities. An MOU is often the first stage in the formation of a formal contract. A letter of intent (LOI) is a document outlining the general plans of an agreement between two or more parties before a legal agreement is finalized. A letter of intent is not a contract and cannot be legally enforced; however, it signifies a serious commitment from one involved party to another. Good luck to all holders. PS. I am a significant holder but don't like constant ramping backed up by nothing of substance. All IMHO NMRN | not my real name
02/5/2017 14:00 | EXACTLY! This seems much more viable to me now, that's why I have got back in today. Quite a few experts have written their pieces on this company and it's potential so I am happy to give it a go. | hazl

02/5/2017 13:10 | "China is one of the largest potash consuming countries in the world. In 2014, China had a potash demand of 12 million tons, its potash import was over 7.7 million tons. In China, the cultivated area with potassium deficiency is as large as 450 million mu (30 hectares); China’s demand for potash will grow continually with a rate of 5% – 6% each year." 02/5/2017 13:03 | No people had long enough to get in sub 20s, no most people no about no income/divi for some time. There's a more fundamental reason that investment funds are not diving in at these prices, you could call it a known unknown! | dp1umb
02/5/2017 12:31 | Could it be that SXX is due quite a rise but some people are not in? | hazl
02/5/2017 12:29 | Could it be to do with the fact that there is unlikely to be any dividend/income for some considerable time? Deterring larger investors. | coolhandfluke

02/5/2017 10:58 | There will be plenty of interest after those articles. Lunch-time readers and so on. I think that was the third time I had seen it mentioned by the time I read that D Mail article. With the main listing and the fact it seems much more credible than when I was in them before, and it achieved good rises even then, I think that people will soon cotton on. Food and agriculture are going to be big topics in the future. This is a fairly essential product,in my opinion. I'm pleased it's coming good for them. | hazl |
