Gut feeling says they are trying to sell all bar the Silhouette bit, pay out a big divi and use the rest of the dosh to develop Instalift. But all they have had so far is parties wanting to cherry pick certain bits or want Silhouette thrown in.
Whatever no one has yet come forward with the right deal at the right price.
AIMHO or whatever they say!

IMO no one could possibly interested in buying the whole lot. if they were they would have bid by now. As to "look at revenue" all I can say is RBS had huge revenues... so has Greece...

They'll be looking at a complete sale given debts IMHO - yet was always an odd time to put themselves up for sale (brought about by prospective interest by a no. of parties by their own admission)as time was required to show the true potential on the aesthetics side - and there's still a lot of work to be done across a range of geographical areas - in short reckon we're worth more with progress to date/greater visbililty going fwd than 10 months ago - just look at revenues in the trading update (despite FX headwinds)- somebody will be able to make a better fist of things than current management - all IMHO

That is my point "bigman" I would feel whoever is in advanced talks with SPH would have seen the books and liked what they have seen IMHO.

dealt... very relevant.... if you were looking to buy a business you look at the books and profit (or in this case the losses) and you don't like what you see then you don't buy.

Is the talk of EDITDA and Earnings relevant when they are in advanced talks to sell.

SoundBuy... the Elephant in the room is, nothing at all in the way of numbers regarding Profit... Indeed the only thing approaching use is EBITDA comment in line with board expectations !!!! so devoid of anything regarding making money.... Why did they not say " sales in line with board expectations" simple it is hype the sales numbers. But hey they will have to be published and I am really looking forward to seeing what the directors expectations are for EBITDA. anyone know what brokers views are ?

Well, better figures than I expected (less of a FX impact than I anticipated)and as noted above 'in advanced talks with various parties'

I see the date for the next trading update in the Financial Calendar section on the company's website has changed from July 2015 to August 2015, so looks like we will have to wait a little longer...

Notably,there's been good size on both the bid and offer during the recent rise.There's currently 100/- on the offer at around 48.25 and the stock is bid for 50/- at 47.32 on quote and deal.The rise has been orderly which suggests it could well hold and,who knows,there maybe an RNS in the wings.

I think you have a very valid argument there bigman, but I can't imagine too much going awry with some very knowledgeable big hitters on board and the directors waddling around with wellies full!

Well maybe I did get it wrong re "best short around" happy to admit that and hope all you buyers make plenty of money..... I see plenty of investors whose "buy" recommendations bomb out...... but the fat lady is still not singing...... I simply go on fundamentals and this company is losing its shirt....still if some mad american comes along and buys it, great for all you investors.

I remain confused on this one. I had hoped for an early week announcement given the strength of the rise on Friday but nothing. In the absence of no news I thought we might soften but we haven't, in fact good strength late in the day.
As Soundbuy says we are overdue a trading update if you look at previous year's timings. Is this delayed because there is other news coming soon...
Who knows. At least we are currently heading North which is great unless you had followed the advice that this was the best short around at 39p.
Anyway good luck to all of us.
