13/5/2015 07:43 | Hi Henderson's rationale? Thought they were accumulating stock till it simply hit their target price, that's been blown out of the water......no idea to be honest, they're not in the 'scalping' game for a bob or two and some of the more recent trades have been for a few K...... Fidelity obviously see value in the business at this level - doubt they'd be mad enough to be buying for the bid........ | soundbuy
12/5/2015 17:15 | Soundbuy, Looking at the last 10 or so trades of Fidelity and Henderson - Fidelity have been accumulating, but Henderson have been going up and down! I know that you were keeping a close watch on these holdings recently and reporting here. Can you (or anyone else) provide an explanation for Henderson's rationale? | eggbaconandbubble
09/5/2015 17:21 | Someone bought 126,349 shares as a UT trade at 43.50p. Don't know what UT trade means but good to see though. | dealit
05/5/2015 12:30 | Churn churn .......... looks as if somebody's looking for stock.... | soundbuy
03/5/2015 17:46 | I agree they could do that. However as a buyer which bit are you most interested in? It is realistically Silhouette and the wider aesthetics business. | gobbie100
02/5/2015 18:08 | Henderson's accumulated up to 6.13% then dumped down to 4.76% and since have bought another 50,000 back up to 4.77%. Bit odd! The last bit that is. gobbie, It seems feasible that they could off load (all at once or bit by bit) all but the Silhouette business. And now that has FDA approval and apparently bags of potential build it up to something mega. Using the sale proceeds to fund it. And/or clear some of the debt. Plus give the now overly patient shareholders a bit of a special divi to boot. But who knows. | eggbaconandbubble
01/5/2015 16:03 | Fidelity will soon be touching 9% holding and would appear Hendersons picking up a little again......... | soundbuy
27/4/2015 16:47 | Been watching that dumping eggbaconandbubble, were keen to acquire but that's some change of stance, Fidelity keen to pick up the slack fortunately, how do I read it? Well, one of them is on the right side of the trade..... | soundbuy
27/4/2015 16:21 | Soundbuy - Henderson Global - What do ya make of that? | eggbaconandbubble
27/4/2015 16:08 | I agree with eb&b. However, the bits buyers would likely be most interested in are the aesthetics and possibly flamma (with US orphan status). Take those out and it does not leave a compelling growth story at which point I would anticipate they would try to flog the remainder as well (albeit at a lower price). As far as valuation......who knows. However, I will hold as I would expect whatever happens the future looks OK. Hopefully todays news brings things to a head and we see something happen. | gobbie100
27/4/2015 15:19 | I think there is the possibility that it may be sold in parts, and also not in it's entirety! | eggbaconandbubble
27/4/2015 14:07 | What are peeps voews on the likely t/o price? | ifthecapfits
27/4/2015 13:23 | Approval in the US and independent analysis predicts $200m in 5 years time makes this a pretty attractive company to take out now. Should also help speed up the process as this will focus the minds of potential buyers. | gobbie100
27/4/2015 10:12 | More likely to be bid for? Yes, IMHO and should provide a cushion if talks arrive at nothing....... | soundbuy
27/4/2015 09:49 | does anyone have a feel for what might happen here? Clearly good news today-does that mean the company is more likely to be bid for? Suppose it must would be the simple answer. | meijiman
27/4/2015 09:24 | Yes, the one thing that markets love is growth in a Company and this is certainly growth. The Board at SPH feel that they need help to take the Company forward, hence the feelers out for a buyer either way IMHO the share price should move higher on this news. | dealit
27/4/2015 08:54 | Chris Spooner, CEO, commented: "I am delighted with today's announcement which represents the biggest growth opportunity in the Company's history. Sinclair's strategy is to build a world leading aesthetic portfolio based on innovative and minimally invasive treatments, supported by extensive physician training. Silhouette Instalift(R) is a unique anti skin sagging cones-on-suture device. A combination of safety, rapid procedure time and strong physician economics has already led to dynamic growth in several markets. FDA approval brings further credibility to this worldwide franchise."If there are companies mulling a takeover ,this can only encourage action. | steeplejack

27/4/2015 07:52 | Yep, reckon this is what a few in the frame would be waiting for..... Sinclair IS Pharma receives US FDA approval for Silhouette Instalift®. "represents biggest growth opportunity in Company's history". | soundbuy
27/4/2015 07:48 | FDA announcement may trigger interest from a buyer IMHO. | dealit
27/4/2015 07:38 | News news.......... | soundbuy
21/4/2015 17:14 | churn churn........... | soundbuy
16/4/2015 15:10 | zzzzzzzzzzzzz! | eggbaconandbubble
14/4/2015 16:22 | Fidelity busy in the mkt - they obviously see value if talks come to nothing | soundbuy |
