Yeah rikky am sure they will come good but just thought 210 for now seemed like too much Long term I have great hpes for SLN & will buy back in but couldn't turn down the prospect of SOLG where I have doubled my capital in a very short space of tim Looking to reduce my holding there if they reach 5.5 & get back in to SLN Just hope we don't fly before that time!!!

Clearly gearing up for bigger and better things. Share consolidation and now the board appointment and general tone of the results are saying good bye to AIM and hello to Full List and NASDAQ. Good move i think!

So you finally sold out after all those years of holding Bill... Sounds like you did well with SOLG.. If we ever see £3.50 again here I'll be out too..

I have to admit I exited @ 210 as I thought I had an oppo to buy into Solg which I did Was really lucky & in paper have made a 75% gain in a very short period. I am now keeping a close watch & am looking to buy in again. So 160? thatll do very nicely indeed Can\'t see it though but accept ur logic callumross

I knew once it broke through the consolidation price, there was only one way this one was going. Still reiterate yesterday's prediction of £1.60 short term i.e 3.2p pre consolidation. At that level might pick some up in the hope of a bounce.

I've frankly had enough of seemingly never-ending downtrends in this stock - how I wish I had got out in January...

There we go. The inevitable break below the consolidation price that always take place. Can see this easily drifting to £1.60 in the absence of unexpected news.

Readers of the other thread will have seen me post on SBS and CRX here as they are also small cap biotechs .... the difference being they make profits and have growing turnover with little debt.

Richard 'the lionheart' Griffiths who holds a stake in SLN ... as I am sure you all know ... has built up a stake of 6% in Source BioScience SBS as did Henderson Global.

Henderson Global recently acquire 7% in Cyprotex CRX

18% of shares in Cyprotex CRX have been bought in the last 10 trading days without an RNS yet .... 6m yesterday , so somebody or some Institutions or maybe some company is building a stake.

Could be because they just were awarded a 5 year , $11m contract by the USA Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to undertake Toxicology testing using Cyprotex own unique IP CellCiphr technology of the EPA library of chemical compounds. Or maybe it was because Pfizer recently signed a 18 month deal with Cyprotex to evaluate several different types of unique IP that Cyprotex own.

Whichever way we should get an RNS by friday I think

I wonder if Richard 'the lionheart' Griffiths has been in a receptive mood

or maybe like me he is a chartist

I think 7p john

This is the chart since Dr Anthony Baxter became CEO just over a week back I did this chart

I have just today done the same timescale chart to show that the move up to the next trend resistance line is underway

Need some news, or some big buying by one or two individuals like we had in January, to get this moving up again. I don't mind which!

Now held this for 5 years, I'm sure there are a few on this board who have held for 6 or 7...

Yes playing politics in the city is not going to have a long term affect on the SP, newsflow however will make a difference.

I still feel that psychologically it is easier for a shareprice to go from 2p to £1 than from £2 to £100, but that probably has no basis in fact.

fludde U never know u might still be right but I for one am hoping that this is the beginning of a positive trend. Just feel we need some good newsflow.

I for one expected a fall back after consolidation. If it carries on like this, good luck. If not I will buy back for a subsequent bounce.

Happy with the share price trend at pres where are all the doomsters that sed this would drop quickly after the capitalisation. Personally I will be happy when the share price rises back above 300. After that next stop 400. It will be interesting to see the share price reaction once we receive a milestone payment. Save me researching Can anyone remember when this is likely?

Must have heard the O's didn't make the play offs Geoff? Enough to send ripples through the markets again. Sense some reality here hovering around a penny or two either way or in old money .02p, or .04p either way. No play offs for silence either mate? ................ A MESSAGE TO ALL SBS SHAREHOLDERS ................

........................................................................................................................

Sigma Aldrich cherry picked Cyprotex to spearhead one of their latest Genetic based assays the Zinc Finger Assay

Note the FDA reference

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the European Medicines Agency recently recommended defining a drug candidate's interactions with efflux transporters, which act as doorways for drugs to exit or be expelled from human cells, to ascertain a drug candidate's probable safety profile and potential for adverse drug-drug interactions.

When will recommended become mandatory ?

To the best of my knowledge Cyprotex were the first company to get the license

I don't know if any other company has as yet been given a license by Sigma Aldrich for this test ...... so any company contacting Sigma Aldrich that want this test most likely get refered to Cyprotex ..... ie another new client.

Cyprotex are in a niche market therefore

This is the test

DNA sequencing is involved

This is why on my Source Bioscience (SBS) thread I have been suggesting a partnering between Cprotex and Source Bioscience to do DNA sequencing in the Apredica(Cyprotex owned) labs in Boston (USA biggest Pharma Biotech hub for new drug development) by utilizing Cyprotex(Apredica) lab space and staff to do these tests on a Sanger DNA sequecing machine as used by Source Bioscience here in the UK.

BOTH companies would win ...... Cyprotex would be able to enter a new market as GENE based assays are becoming more accepted as a requirement for ADME Tox.

Cyprotex now must have over 800 Clients

Many of which would use a new DNA sequencing service , especially if it were an overnight one as offered by Source Bioscience in the UK where business has GROWN by 100% in the last 2 years and at a price that beat the local competion.

It is my hope that Institutional Shareholders like Henderson Global who own shares in BOTH companies talk to Source Bioscience (SBS) to get them to take advantage of an opportunity to gain USA exposure in a MASSIVE market on a low cost low risk basis by partnering with Cyprotex.

Other opportunities for Source Bioscience such as Molecular Diagnostic testing which they currently undertake for the NHS , could then also be offered to the ever growing Cyprotex Client Portfolio (probably in excess of 800 clients including MOST of the worlds top 10 Pharmas).

Genetic Mutations caused by new drug compounds is a NEW CUTTING EDGE development and assays for it using HUMAN CELLS also new development which the FDA in the USA are keen to see developed further. Such tests coud not be carried out several years ago because the technology and assays did not exist.

Sigma Aldrich and Pfizer are both now involved with Cyprotex , two MULTI BILLION DOLLAR USA BEHEMOTHS , the USA Environmental Agency (EPA) has just contracted to Cyprotex to use their unique IP , CellCiphr technology to do 5 years of testing on the ToxCast library of chemical compounds. Ths rubber stamping APPROVED what Cyprotex do as a WORLD LEADER in the field of Toxicology Testing.

Thus I think more deals on the back of such approval should now follow

We do seem to be moving in the right direction even though there appear to be a few chunky "late" sells going through......strange.

Sorry Vertina I can't help but hopefully someone else can.
