No knowledge but I suspect its in play. The sector is hot. we have patents. Ill just wait and see what occurs, but extremely happy with the price rise over last 3 months. The chart does look like it wants to explode

This is insider buying for definitely. Some momentum support from small time punters like me but there's something afoot here

Finally started selling some of my holding as looking a bit toppy now with a market cap of over £100m and only a few million in cash. I remember the dark days of last summer at under a penny and can't believe that we have come this far up in such a short time. Good luck all. If it corrects significantly, then I will get back in.

"The $125M stock offering just announced by Alnylam may well be the largest secondary offering in the history of RNAi Therapeutics. Adding the two VC fundraisings by Gradalis and Solstice earlier this month, it brings the total investment in RNAi Therapeutics by private investors to $167M this January alone! Compare this to the wide perception a little more than a year ago that RNAi Therapeutics was destined to die and the approx. $21, 57, 40, and 122M raised in 2009-2012 respectively (uptick obviously in 2012)."

If you want more info on the Alnylam deal, I would suggest a read of the following RNAI blog, the chap who writes the articles has a strong scientific background and understands the subject matter far better than I do!

Silence tipped in the mail this morning:

Dealers say there is plenty of upside at Silence Therapeutics, 0.1p easier at 5.1p.
The shares have doubled since directors filled their boots with stock at 2.5p, but the company which specialises in technology that shuts down target genes, which could in turn stop disease from forming, still looks dirt cheap.
Particularly compared with American counterpart Alnylam Pharma which has just raised £78m in the US market.

What's wrong with trading?
I buy shares to make a profit (hopefully) not sign any allegiance.
I have a holding in SLN but have been trading them also (T20s') for a while now.
When SR Pharma (now SLN) went from pennies to £1.50 I adopted the same strategy, and therefore actually made money overall by continually taking money off the table....
But at the end of the day its each to their own.
As Eagle posted earlier it would be nice to make money in a company that can help these poor souls who would normally have little hope.

Hope so GB Much of my quote was tongue in cheek Just so envious of the brave investors Regrettably I am a wimp in the investment game Nice to see SLN approaching the £100M valuation Saying this could explode on ATU027 news seems stupid but I hope a we receive magic news but having seen the share price grow 5 fold in under 6 months & still not paused for breath is amazing. I wonder what the c/value of SLN realistically can grow to. 34p GB heady days indeed. Patience is the key.
BTW I agree 6.5 next resistance level.
