On a quick read, I am very satisfied with the report. In particular the fact that Ask only have to do a short trial is very significant because it means it will be on the market much quicker.

A US deal is coming; as usual it is all about patience....

Let's hope we get a well thought out and positive RNS that as a bare minimum shows commercial progress by Norgine and an enforced delay in the paeds study due to coronavirus meaning that a fund raise gets significantly pushed back further into 2021...

Will be very very poor form if they just state their recent usual rubbish about the US that we've had to get read.

I do wonder what led to the sudden announcement of interims being released in 48hrs... Maybe we will find out in the morning as I'm pretty sure we won't find out at 4.30.

Peachie been invested here before you even new this company existed I don’t need to constantly be bullish because I’m invested I say it how it is unlike some who feel in capable of making the slightest negative comment.
The facts are it’s been a disappointing last 12 months and I don’t mean necessarily from an investment point it’s the running of the company leaves a lot to be desired number one is communicating with Nordgine seems very poor and Licensing delay is incredible that we have only had the repetition of the saying rhetoric

Well, I personally am invested here because I feel that the risk/reward ratio is satisfactory for my own criteria. Not FOMO desperation.
I have in the past on several occasions seen CEO's put a great spin on negative or mediocre results (quite a skill to pull it off too, which I have also seen achieved some of the time!).
I am sure that will not be the case tomorrow and I am certainly hoping for option A too.
Personally, I will always give recognition and shower praise where it is due, but I think some of the criticisms I have read on this board are not without some merit.
In my opinion, this deal is taking quite a long time and it would be dishonest of me to suggest otherwise.
I guess the recent share price reflects this mild degree of negative sentiment - and will hopefully therefore yield a more considerable reward when the company presents us with a good, or very good, deal.
Anyway, good luck to all holders, whether your glass be half full, or half empty, at the moment :)

Well TBH there isn’t much positive to discuss , but don’t see the point in just moaning about the company. I’m sure they aren’t a load of lay-abouts, tossing it off !
It’s in their interests as much as anyone’s to make Feraccru the worlds number 1 iron deficiency treatment. And the world is a strange place right now.

I think the CEO either
A. knows the interim results RNS is a good one, or
B. he is a brave bloke facing the investors later in the day !
I’m going for option A 👍🏼

I am an investor in STX but disappointed with their CEO and marketing. Any other company with an approval from FDA for replacement therapy from IV to capsules would have secured a good deal for itself and the shareholders by now. The CEO has no charm or skill to run STX and should be replaced as soon as practically possible.

Edit: if he secures a good deal then I'll put my hand up.

I must confess, I expected a deal to be done by now. I hope the new CEO can do the business here. I stand by my previous comment nonetheless and remain ready to buy more, all things being equal.

if US deal is not completed by Wed, which now looks likely, STX will be very limited in what they can say. At best i suspect they will only confirm that discussions are on going. There will be no positive or negative wording in the statement, but i suspect it will be interpreted as the latter.

It would be nice if they could at least say something like 'pleased with progress to date' etc but i doubt it.

Ideally it would be great if 2 RNSs dropped at 7am on Wed, just as SYM did today

I think the briefings on Wednesday will be more interesting. Obviously they are about the results but I can't believe they will be able to completely not mention the US deal. What they do or don't say we will be able to interpret as we choose.

If we are still awaiting USA deal on Results day I hope we have some reasonable growth numbers from Nordgine or I can see a sharp drop as patience will be wearing thin for sure

Interim results have to be out by September end. CEO said so in the recent email I received.

We won't be getting any news in the results so I'm sure we will be able to buy at these levels and potentially lower again. There is currently only 1 piece for this jigsaw.

I emailed Shield's PR company. They said that Shield has yet to issue a notice of results so they are.not sure where this info came from.

According to bloomberg STX will release 1H results Monday premkt. Could be the last time to buy or top up at these levels.

Some posters are really half empty types.

Ex CEO has over 10m shares - so c9%. This would be RNSed if this changed over a 1% limit so i'm pretty sure he is not selling. Why sell now when you could have c100% upside in the not too distant future?

CEO stated recently he speaks to ex CEO 2 or 3 times a week and Carl has specifically stayed on to assist with an US deal as per the RNS. As it has not been completed yet why assume he is no longer working with STX.

I can verify that I have seen the email and was encouraged by it. However, not surprisingly it did not contain anything definitive.
