07/9/2020 12:49 | “Can you/will you post the email in full so we can all bask in the wave of confidence it has given you?” How did you interpret that I’m basking in confidence now !! I said my shares are staying put and bought 1K more. A small amount in ratio to my total holding. Or are you being sarcastic ? He obviously has not disclosed anything to me that would affect the market ! Nobby has seen the email as we have corresponded before. But I did this knowing the email would not appear here or elsewhere , which I believe to be the respectful thing to do. I think I have gladly shown previous emails from Walbrook. The fact he emailed direct and said the negotiations were carrying on was enough for me. I could have said nothing but I thought people might appreciate knowing the CEO will confront the issues. Not shy away | peachie 74
07/9/2020 12:11 | @shandypants2, post 207 Re the ex-CEO: the relevant RNS just said he will have an '...advisory capacity...'. It is 5 months since he left, so I expect he is be doing other things now/has a new job etc... and presumably has offloaded at least some of his shares. In addition they also have a new Chair and brought in a new NED who had been involved in the company previously, so surely this is now very much their (new CEO, new Chair and new NED) deal to win or lose. Let's hope they win and do so soon... | ekcs
07/9/2020 11:59 | @Peachie74 (post 209): Well done for getting a personal response and not from the IR firm. Can you/will you post the email in full so we can all bask in the wave of confidence it has given you? Simply do not believe he would say anything that would be subject to MAR without you having agreed to become 'inside'. I am guessing you did not agree to such so presumably it is all just sentiment. | ekcs
07/9/2020 09:19 | Thanks for the great input Ox ! | peachie 74
07/9/2020 08:31 | This sure fire bet is sure going the wrong way. Bit like Brexit so far - no deal. | its the oxman

05/9/2020 09:31 | I tried to buy 2000 yesterday, in the end gave up as my order failed. They are playing around with the share price but then again what's new. I got enough to make a few bob when the deal is announced, which should take us into the £2.50 range. Just guessing but remaining hopeful and patient. | frrinvest
04/9/2020 16:37 | The problem will arise when they need the upfront from USA deal to fund peadeactric Trial at what price will they get a fund raise off at.Im relatively relaxed as took as significant holding in the 30p range bt for those newcomers its a concern | best1467
04/9/2020 16:11 | Just bought another 1K. Would have more but all in here and SNG ! | peachie 74
04/9/2020 15:53 | Oh, also, Norgine update in interim results before 30th September | peachie 74
04/9/2020 15:00 | Had a lengthy email from the CEO himself today. NOT THE PR firm. My shares are staying put. EDIT. He made a valid point that updates on negotiations would lead to more volatility in the share price | peachie 74
04/9/2020 14:27 | If no deal is announced by the last week of September, this will quickly retrace to under a quid IMO. At which point, I will take a deep breath and buy more if/when we revisit circa 88p. I was waiting for 80p last time and should have taken more slightly higher up, but I was a bit too greedy I guess. To be frank though, I would rather not have the option! GLA. | lovewinshatelosses
04/9/2020 13:06 | we all need to be patient here as the MMs are happy to drop the price on low volumes as some people get nervous. I agree with Dave - CEO is not very charismatic but maybe that's better when negotiating a deal. Also think STX know this so ex CEO has been kept on to assist with a deal. Re IR comments, it's just a standard response, similar to one i received a few weeks back. CEO comments they refer to were made during June presentation when slide said US deal in Summer 2020, so IMHO nothing has changed. As Whatno says this is not binary - we cannot go alone so a deal will be done. It might take a little longer and £££ may be good rather than great, but as none of the upfront payments are included in the current price even a half decent deal will be well received. I remember last year before the FDA announcement price dropped from c120p to about a £1 and i was kicking myself for topping up at 115p. A few days later i was selling between 170p and 190s. I think the same will happen here , hopefully in the next month or so. Keep the faith!!! | shandypants2
04/9/2020 12:51 | 108-117 in 5000 doesn't exactly encourage anyone to get involved. | spooky
04/9/2020 11:49 | Yes I'm in for the long haul as the drug is worth considerably more than the current market cap. As we all know it's all about sentiment and because of the delay, for now sentiment is wavering. However, once a deal is signed as long as it is half decent, sentiment will change rapidly. People who won't buy now will then be trying to buy at £2. That is the way of the stock market and IMHO the money will be made here by people with some patience! | nobbygnome
04/9/2020 11:44 | Correct. A deal will be done. STX has no competitors in this massive market. It’s an open goal | peachie 74
04/9/2020 11:39 | Added a few. Worth a lot more. Believe a deal will be done, this year or next. | its the oxman
04/9/2020 10:43 | People just get bored and see other shares moving I suppose. But the upside here is still enormous | peachie 74
04/9/2020 10:43 | Except for the thumbs down clown that is, who needs to have a good look in the mirror. Edit - his mate's turned up, lol. What a pair of sensitive souls. It all has to be positive - I see ;-0 | daveboy1
04/9/2020 10:42 | Nobby has had first hand experience of Tim and says he’s a decent bloke. | peachie 74
04/9/2020 10:41 | Something has seemed a bit off since Carl Sterritt departed (more than what we were told, I believe, as per!). The new CEO and former CFO lacks the charisma as I've stated before. It is an essential part of the top job to engage in, and have rapport with both potential partners and shareholders. He seems to lack in both departments. I hope he can pull it off, or else it is back to the drawing board for me. Good luck to all the faithful investors who have stuck it out here through all the disappointments. Maybe we will get our day in the sun soon .... | daveboy1
04/9/2020 10:19 | The share price drops a few % on the suspected news drop this month and people get a twitch on. If you believe the deal will fall into place buy more and hold. If not sell out or de-risk.Gl all. | itshenderz
04/9/2020 10:15 | Don’t we all Dave ! And bought back in the 50s ! | peachie 74 |
