Interim CFO appointed for 6 months. Orderly transition from current CFO.
Hopefully new CFO can help refocus business....

They haven't won a sizeable new contract in years, next update we'll get more guff about a small improvement H1,23 on H1,22 and how second half will be better but it still will be a business going nowhere in a supposedly attractive sector - If management were committed to shareholder value they would be either seeking a buyer or articulating a much more aggressive growth strategy. The only winners at present are those drawing nice salaries at shareholders expense.

Its hard to understand how they can't be picking up business in today's world, where cyber attacks are increasing common. I see Volex (VLX - who make all things electrical) put out RNS this morning of cyber attack and bringing in specialists to deal with...

Agreed, it will help the market though if they keep us in touch with some of the delayed contracts....

Tbf, we had a detailed rns 5 weeks ago. Including comment on Q1. Markets are savage at the moment. And feels like we have a seller. Market cap now about 8.5m. Cash of at least 4m. And likely to grow. I've nibbled more.

Having already taken "adjusted EBITDA" beyond the realm of what is generally acceptable they don't really have anywhere else to go to dress up the underlying losses. Next trading update is pivotal , one assumes it can only show improved performance but then assumption has already been hammered once......

Very impressive - takes a lot of skill to keep reducing the market cap despite the positive spin B/S

Good points - especially regarding the FX hit, that really was very poor. He always looked like a junior financial controller who somehow wandered into the CFO office one day and nobody noticed.....

To be fair the CFO has never really bought into this business. From memory he bought about £5k shares around 110/120p. Hardly a show of confidence. Also the FX write down of £0.7m due to lack of hedging should surely have laid at his door.
I believe a new CFO is good for the business and hopefully sharpen up the finances.

CFO quitting is always a bad sign , has been totally glossed over and I believe wasn’t even mentioned in the investor call. If things are now looking so positive , why would he walk ? More likely lost confidence of city and major shareholders after such a cataclysmic handling of prior year forecasts , especially the Q4 debacle

A sell of 800 quid knocks the price. That's the reality of where we are at.

Geolang/secure envoy hold the Single Sign on (SSO) tech. It just so happens the Intercede (IGP) are actively looking to acquire SSO tech! I'm just putting one and one together but it makes sense to me IMVHO

My guess is they've been trying to get Private Equity involved but with little success due to recent and current trading.

The way they are reorganising the company groups, makes me think they are in the process to sell off part of the company. That might explain why they have haven't pursued any acquisitions.
