Well done to anyone that took a punt at below 40p (i topped up, but only very small). We won't see that price again. Should be back to well over a £1 this time next year.

They have a unique expertise in telling shareholders absolutely nothing , or as little as possible. This Ebtida nonsense should be outlawed for starters. Plain speaking is what is needed. If there was a bid then the market has to be notified immediately. I dont believe the chairman is any wiser that the rest of us. WTF IS GOING ON.

I would not find a bid unwelcome.

This Friday, before the bank holiday weekend would be a good time to release disappointing results or news of a unwelcome bid for the company.

Very much doubt it. Suspect more summer hols audit logistics.

Is the delay in results due to a bid situation? We'll see soon.

I contact SWG through their PR agency. I sent email 4th August asking for date when results would be announced and they came straight back saying they didn't have a date yet, but would let me know when they do...

Tried to contact them via website to ask what is going on. Error and access denied. I suppose thats one form of cyber security. Ive been here since 2016 and frankly givingbup hope with an 80% loss.

based on the recent valuation attached to ECSC at takeover, SWG would be worth approx £1 per share. Anything under £1 is too cheap imo. Has anyone contacted them about the delayed results and asked for an explanation? perhaps one of us should.

A good fit with SYS ? - which has a new CEO looking to make a difference.

There are no reported short positions. A bid is likely at these levels given the MCAP is 20% of the cash that's been spent (overpaid) on acquisitions. Anything north of 60p is likely to be acceptable from all angles as this stage

Either shorts are closing out or a bid for the company is imminent.

Well, it looks like any stock overhang is now cleared. If results are anyway reassuring, I can see this going 50-60 short order. The market cap is tiny with a very healthy cash balance.
