"Although pembrolizumab is currently the only drug with FDA approval as a tumor-agnostic therapy, ipilimumab and nivolumab illustrate the path which cancer treatment is headed: immunotherapies targeting immunological biomarkers.

Immunological biomarkers allow us to determine the quality of the immune system and monitor the success of our therapies, profiling the patient’s immune system to see what is “broken.” Checkpoint inhibitors in particular have received their many approvals using a traditional tumour-by-tumour clinical trial approach (one trial in melanoma, another in lung cancer, etc.).

The shift to tumour-agnostic medication, with a focus on the immunology and not the pathology is one that will take time; however, we can expect to see more approvals of drugs targeting immunological biomarkers."

Just how wrong can one man be !!!!!
The idiot is totally off his rocker, but i bet you any money that he will try to wriggle out of his prediction, he always does.
He will try to claim that either he didnt say it or that , or that he was talking about a few years time.
He's just a proven LIAR and fantasist, who has done his nuts on his investment.

Torquay, do you not mean what hope is there for you and your boss innanaco, whilst some more astute on here have made money whilst accumulating shares you seem to have more interest in the science as your boss calls it.Science to me means physics, chemistry and biology, what am i missing whilst making money here whilst you and bossman discuss science elsewhere.

Loggy - top line it's called Alerts. Go in and it'll bring a pile of shares up where you've requested. Somewhere in there you can just ask to get RNS's etc, don't hold me to being 100% accurate as it's Sunday afternoon so just spent a few secs quickly checking for you

Logman - you stop writing it ? Lovely language. Well done.
If you can't even ask that simple question politely - what hope is there ?

Hi TF - don't want anybody chucking money at anything without properly understanding where it's come from. This really is nothing more than my own loving co-incidence and chaos theory and a random meeting yesterday. Based on this rationale only I'm going to chuck a couple of grand into celyad and see what happens.

There is also some evidence that Nivolumab works against Hodgkin's lymphoma although only approved for use against kidney cancer in the UK at the moment.

Hi Loggy, bloody rain arrived just as it was lit, however numerous units later all forgotten. I like co-incidence, friends's wife there was talking about somebody she knew in Belgium who had a blood cancer (not leukaemia), had all sorts of treatment, none working, month's lifespan and was then given a little trial pill (Jan to July timescale) and is now back from the dead. Interesting bit is he has no idea what it was, nor did the hospital nor his GP - trial drug. So perhaps an omen for us or if any of the other
I've come across this so far -

hxxps://labiotech.eu/medical/car-t-leukemia-celyad/

Mixed reviews on them, Nasdaq listed, there's always press hype but I seem to have inadvertently stumbled across confirmation that this stuff really turned the walking dead into somebody you wouldn't;t have even known was ill.

Any of our better informed bio peers have any knowledge on this one?

"And I’ll say it early—I have a slide at the end. My impression and other colleagues’ is that we’re now not looking to do huge trials with hundreds of patients. We’re looking to initially, cautiously move forward and look at these combinations, either early or in patients who are PD-1 relapsers or refractory and find that exquisite responder." Omid Hamid
