Feeling some sympathy for the Savannah team trying hard to get Abe Kachikwu to prioritise the Seven Energy deal?

In the last few days he's been in Saudi and tied up a memorandum of understanding with Saudi Aramco to invest heavily in Nigeria's old under-performing and disused refineries, build one new refinery and develop new mid-stream gas infrastructure.

Seven Energy deal might seem to him small-fry after a week like that. But he needs to get on with the administration work that is building up on his desk.

Too early after the holidays for Ministerial announcement I reckon.

Mood music from HQ was very determined last week.

When not if.

Watched a video of AK from before Xmas.

Language was all as if SAVP were already directing 7E operations.

Nothing to be done but sit and wait.

No-one was investing here for 20% profits. Success means many multiples of initial investment.

I am severely overinvested, if things go pear shaped, I will need put in a drug induced coma.

I think the corner has been turned, but not now expecting any news until mid May.

I will get my "Still nothing" in early as Monday is a bank holiday.

Lots to ponder.

The Ministerial approval has only become a big issue since the election outcome looked in doubt.
Before that I don't remember it being this huge cause of angst.
