The best of luck to you oilbagger. I understand the self doubt you must have been going through with SAVP in recent times. I too feel badly let down by AK but am sticking with it, if only because this is Nigeria and things do take much longer to get to fruition there. AK could have been more open about the nature of the issues facing the Seven E deal, and for that his standing in my eyes has been downgraded, as well by the market in general I think. He has a lot of credibility to make up now. I hope his cronies are reading this post, like Thomas The Tank Engine.

If this ever comes good I suggest we gather funds for SMTI?

Oilbagger. Thanks for that.
SAVP is my last roll of the dice.
I've moved everything else over to Vanguard. 70/30 World tracker equity/World bond.
Can't even buy single company shares on their platform.
It felt like pouring a whiskey bottle down the sink at the time. But immense relief afterwards.

Watched and read John Bogle and Burton Malkiel.

Never again.

Meant to say, it took today and yesterday to accomplish the sales.
I noticed that it was not possible at times to sell and in fact buy in volume over the 2 days. I guess that most of the shares are held in sticky II hands and it is mostly just PIs trading on a daily basis

Fairly substantial, between 800k and 900K shares across SIPPs, ISAs and Dealing accounts for my wife and I. I failed in letting SAVP get too big a position in my portfolio and feel must better now that I am out. I was going to keep a nominal position but decided at the last minute to make a clean break and sell out completely. I believe there is still a chance SAVP could come good but after reviewing my strategy across my portfolio (at end of tax year) I decided that it had to go because of its size and risk profile. I am determined to be much more disciplined and feel SAVP has taught me a few lessons. I was too trusting of SAVP Management and focused too much on the optimistic outcome and didn't balance it up with the possible downsides. If I had, I would have exited 6 months ago. Who knows, today's price might offer a good risk reward balance for new entrants. Lastly, I wish all existing and future shareholders good luck.

Oilbagger. I'm very grateful for your open attitude.

Are you willing to say how many shares you cleared?
I sold out last Autumn because of all the ever extending excuses and an underlying angst on my part over Nigeria.

I thought December with a final version of the RTO was a turning point and bought in heavily.

I don't feel so clever now.

correct - I finally ran out of patience on SAVP and lost faith with management, risks just seem to get greater with each delay. I have been offloading my holding over the past few days but I am now finished. Good luck to all holders - hopefully your patience will be rewarded.

Amen to that Bushman.

I was a harsh critic until I realised the delay was to allow a better Accugas deal and an II buying in after Xmas reassured.

I bought in heavily.

Starting to wonder was I wise.

Gut feeling is still the RTO will eventually happen, but, it has been a most disconcerting journey.

I think we will need the dividend to turbo-charge it, a "show me the money!" moment.

The delay on Niger hasn't helped. The explanation is vague and unconvincing. Suspect it is actually put off until RTO cash appears.

Not a happy bunny at all.

But not selling.

Full circle, SDX and SAVP where they both were two years ago. Now is the time to buy back in again IMHO if you haven't already done so.

Axxela says it does 80 mmcf/d.

Accugas supply 3x greater at circa 240 mmcf/d with more customers to tie in.

Axxela appears to be solely the gas supply/pipeline business and not gas reserves or fields which make up the Savp acquisition (ie Uquo, Stubb Creek reserves and production and sales to Accugas - plus Accugas gas business/supply/pipelines etc/sales to customers) .

Whatever the landscape it's a vote of confidence from Helios in Nigerian gas supply.

Worth drawing attention to those 7 critical CGDPs (of which Accugas are involved).

I hope it wasn’t the home game against the Woolwich Wanderers whet they won the double at our place. 50,000 outside 50,000 inside, or so the story goes. It certainly took us 45 mins to get In. I’m leaving you a message..

Hi Timberwolf,

First game 1963, although I saw the double team come down the high road with the two trophies in 1961. You?
