Cash won't be the issue - the 28p placing is far from exhausted - it will more than carry us through to the end of year imho and then 7E deal brings a v significant cash flow

My angst is the delay on Niger.

If we were happily drilling and pumping, the delay on the RTO wouldn't be so annoying.

But everything is on hold.

Where is the seismic?

Give us a timetable for Niger?

AK credibility on timelines shot away and classic "over promise and under deliver". BUT I'm confident 7E will complete and in a year's time this will look a good deal and we will wonder what's the fussing about.....BUT in meantime someone on the BOD should take AK in hand and shake some sense in to him on managing expectations. Does he expect us to believe that he didn't know that government elections were planned & it would lead to inevitable delays?

It'll take whatever time and form it chooses......it's not life & death. Or football. I take some comfort from the recent 28p raise as institutions are unlikely to have invested without full diligence on SAVP position and 7E deal. Plus couldn't have forward sold that many new shares, so in it for medium term. Expect the 7E to close and when she does, I think its v likely to be goodbye to 30p. And a dividend to boot which will help the rerate. Risk/Reward is a decent balance imho.

I’m not expecting any update until there is news.

The Nigerians are not running around trying to agree the sign off by the end of the quarter. It’s just an estimate thrown out to give an idea of timing.

Anyone who really expected a sign off in the first quarter is in for a few surprises as the months roll on!
