Interesting to see that Saga got yet another mention on BBC1 TV this morning - on the Andrew Marr show.

It looks like Vaccine Passports are going to be commonplace and, now quite clearly, that Saga will be remembered for being first.

Further to my previous post the STUPIDINVESTER would love any delays in vaccine roll out. Disgusting individual. Maybe if he or someone close to him caught the new variant he’d tone down the rubbish. Seems the only way

As mentioned many times and IGNORED REPEATEDLY by STUPIDINVESTER, Saga share price is still a bargain and could only be affected to a small extent in the short term only regardless of whether cruises commence later this year or early next. Other parts of the Saga brand are flying.

What some don't get on here and on the other PC SAGA group. The travel sector got hammered Friday as the vaccine roll out is not going well.Phizer are having production problems, and Astrazeneca have cut the EU'S supply by 60 percent. The vaccine may not even work on the African variant. The market is now pricing in no return to normal till 2022.DYOR

The figures I'm posting are just for UK but this is happening right around the world!
SAGA post covid are in the most booming business sector there is.
This POTENTIALLY is about as cheap as we will ever get into this sector.

The "massive" wealth of the old and home ownership
6.5 million households in England are headed by someone aged 65 and over; equating to
around one-third of all households (ONS, 2018j).
• 78% of households headed by someone aged 65+ are owned. Of these older adult
homeowners, just 6% are still paying a mortgage (Airey, 2018).
• 16% of households headed by someone aged 65 or over socially rent, while 6% privately rent
(Airey, 2018).
• 64% of outright owner households are headed by a person aged 65+ (MHCLG, 2019).
• 27% of households in the social rented sector are headed by a person aged 65 or over
(MHCLG, 2019).
• 88% of the growth in the number of households between 2016 and 2041 is projected to be in
households headed by someone aged 65+ (ONS, 2018j).
Last updated May 2019
• The number of households headed by someone aged 65+ is projected to increase by 54% by
2041, which will bring the total number of households headed by someone aged 65+ to almost
10 million, whereas the number of households headed by someone under 65 is projected to
grow by just 3% (ONS, 2018j)

Wake-up call for self-indulgent cruising pensioners (and their investors):

"Even after you have had both doses of the vaccine you may still give Covid-19 to someone else and the chains of transmission will then continue," Prof Van-Tam said.

"If you change your behaviour you could still be spreading the virus, keeping the number of cases high and putting others at risk who also need their vaccine but are further down the queue."

Of course, anything you say. I guess Griffin mining, Lloyds, Barclays, Saga, Melrose group to name a few I bought at low points last year are all travel stocks. Silly me, I didn’t realise. Sorry about that

Stupidinvestor said we had our heads stuck in the sand at £2.30, £2.40, £2.60 and everything in between. Also told everyone on CNA what was going to happen there during the same period. He’s 2 for 2 in rubbish information and unsubstantiated stock predictions. Let’s be very clear, we’re not interested if saga price drops this week or the next. This is one of the most undervalued stocks in the UK. Clever investors know this.

I’m medium to long term on this. I think this week could end up being down overall but as you say it’ll soon recover again, no question of that. Actual clever investors would know that. The stupid investor is secretly gutted that he had no money to invest at £2.30.

I expect more good news than bad. Certainly some good news on the insurance front but as I have said before, I am looking a few years ahead. As I am not a trader I am not worried about short term fluctuations and the ridiculous comments from posters like stupid. This may well slip back on Monday but eventually it will only go one way. Up.

Face the facts stupidinvester. You embarrassingly called this one wrong for virtually the whole of January. The bloodbath did not occur when you said it would. I am not worried about the short term. I'm holding just under 17000 shares with an average of £1.97 and will be holding these for at least 2-3 years. I don't care about IAG as I am not invested. You are one despicable person, having made fun at other people losing money with various investments. You can't laugh at me because I am well in profit and will be in 24-36 months time. You have also failed to explain your predicted 15:1 share split. Once again, I ask you when this will happen? Not expecting any kind of sensible response. Do us all a favour - crawl back to and disappear into your cesspit.
