Wally, BT was always a long term investment. Great future once Cap/Ex for FTTP is complete. BT is a cost cutting giant that will reduce workforce by at least 40%. I'm a value investor and have a record to most probably put you in the shade, so pipe down.

Lol, it's only 9.30am. I suspect wosg will settle around 390 to 410, once things settle down. At this price point they will have a PE ratio of around 10.

Of course, S4 shareholders don't understand PE ratios. Since S4 has never made any earnings!!!

Like I said before S4 is built on dodgy foundations. It is a card pyramid waiting to collapse. Be careful here.

Haven't you owned BT for years and years Nige? The share price is bouncing off a 30 year low. How can you be proud of that??

Wally, I was just correcting you, and giving a warning to your ramping. You make me LOL, how did I know today that you managed to sell out at the top today. You really couldn't make it up, or rather you do. You didn't disputed my finding regarding WOSG? maybe you learnt something.

Morning Auson, yes BT my largest holding doing well, share price currently up 11% dividend increase 3.9%. Nice.

wallywoo,

WOSG 1500 to 332, looks a lot like you like to buy beaten down stocks at the bottom doesn't it. Meaning you are a de-ramper who has never had a short position here.

BT looking good today Nige !

Lol, oh dear Nige Have you ever thought of doing something else? I really don't think investing is your bag.Sold half my wosg at 400p this morning. 19% profit over 1 month. Will hold the rest until it hits 500p.

Wally, regarding Watches Of Switzerland Group, you mentioned all the positives but failed to mention the negatives. I've previously researched WOSG and I was impressed as you clearly are with the positives. However, I feel that its my duty to warn other board members, to point out the potential negatives that you failed to mention.

What put me off investing in WOSG is the following that you failed to mention. In January WOSG came out with a profits warning, the share price plummeted 37% on the day, and continued to drop a further 13% to date.

About 50% of WOSG revenue comes from selling Rolex watches being an official retailer for this great brand. Rolex made a game changing acquisition in the Summer of 2023 in retailer Bucherer. The big unknown is will Rolex decide it no longer needs WOSG to sell its expensive watches, or indeed limit the amount it currently supplies to WOSG. There is a good reason why the share price is down 77% from its highs. It may work out for WOSG, but at least tell the full story, warts and all. This is a prime example of why its always best to do your own research, and not take tips of Wally's on a chat board. Be careful out there listening to rampers.

wallywoo,

Well no its not really. If you are a PI your just betting on price decline, with retail conditions at retail prices, you are not borrowing the stock and you cannot sell it, so you are not 'trading' anything.

wallywoo,

Thank you for admitting that you are just here to trade this ( so were never short and are just de-ramping for your buy-ins )

Honesty feels good for a change doesn't it ?

Own around £70k of wosg. Bgt between 325 and 339 over the last month or so. It has been over sold. Quality company, No shares issued since floating in 2020 (at 270p). Have doubled turnover and ebitda since 2020, no debt. Plan to double turnover again in next 3 years. That's a bargain. Trading update tomorrow!!

Can you see the difference???

1) no shares issued to facilitate growth
2) no debt
3) always made a profit and cash, on a tiny pe ratio. Which is reinvested for growth.

Is main stream ftse250 quality. Doesn't have to employ a load of paid rampers to try and balance selling!! I have spent a lifetime analysing the share likely to recover vs the share likely to remain a dog!!

Wally , how's your Watches of Switzerland investment doing? Down 55% in the past 12 months. But let's not forget Wally doesn't have losses. Full of BS.

Hey?!!, traded this lots and lots of times. Never made a loss. I love this share. It falls fast for all the reasons mentioned. It is pumped up fast too.

Imho, it is becoming one of those ridiculous ramping shares (like syme), with soo many shares in issue and so little chance of shareholders getting a return.

Anyone holding a position for the long term is bonkers though. This rubbish is just for short term trading

And of course lots of paid rampers trying to generate demand to balance the sellers.

Wally, I'm not the one who's hanging around on a discussion board for 2 years, that I have no financial interest in. Ok I get it you bought at the share price highs 800p 700p or whatever, and you sold at 200p, yes I can see why you hold a grudge to S4 Capital, you probably bet the farm and lost out big time. But after 2 years of pain don't you think that its time to let it go, for at least your mental health. Whenever I sell out of a share I don't post anymore comments on the same company's chat board, you must admit its not normal behaviour of an investor.

Oo yes, let's own a company that has issued 50m new shares on average every year for 6 years, never made a profit, has increased debt from £0 to £206m in 3 years.

Can't understand why investors are not flocking here. Lol. Of course, I just want to put off others, so I can buy this fabulous bargain!!!

You rampers are funny!

The only suspect posters on here are the ones who have no interest / position in the stock but post here day after day often with lies. You don't want to buy that mate its worthless, oh but of course I've just bought some. Its a ruse as old as the hills.

Lol, Nige you are funny.

So you that has been ramping this share since 200p, are genuine and here to make money. Even though you have lost a load.

And me that point out all the bear facts about this share since the share price was 200p are a scammer. Even though following my advice would saved /made a load of dosh.

Lol, sure thing buddy!!! Now off you go and play.

De ramper Wally still banging his same drum, had he done even the basic research he would have known that all past M&A cash payments are now all behind S4, paid up in Q1 of this year, with a few million more shares to be issued over the next couple of years, part of the 50% cash & 50% S4 shares. No shocks here, at least not to us who do our own research. Remember all these new shares that are currently being issued are issued at much higher share prices, mostly at 400p a fraction of today's share price. You have to hand it to Sorrell by agreeing to part cash, part shares issued at 400p was a master stroke. S4 Capital Net Asset Value 150p. Today's share price 53p.

Or maybe Wally already knew all the above, maybe he's just attempting to deceive potential new S4 Capital shareholder from buying S4 shares. My advice to any new board member is do your own research, don't listen to anyone on these discussion boards, the likes of Wally has an ulterior motive, he certainly doesn't have anyone's best interests at heart. You have been warned.
