SMS has total power over any supposed offer. Not anyone else. At 80 years old it makes absolutely no sense, he will be long dead before the debt mountain comes down. There's zero evidence that any serious offer was made or considered.

Perhaps he is losing his marbles? Dementia is extremely common at that age. Might be in his jimjams for his next presentation!!

So all these S4 directors will sell up @50p, after turning down a takeover offer of 96p per share because the offer wasn't regarded as being credible. Yeah that makes sense. LOL.

Sounds like you will make up the narrative to suit your aims. They are not leaving, they are staying with the company, just in different roles. I am sure they are highly intelligent people who know the value of their shares is greater than they would get today, so in my view, are unlikely to sell, unless they need the money.I would like to know what's behind the need to reshuffle Directors. Interesting to see that US listing rules imply that the majority of Directors should be independent.

Lol, no I am short from 58p, made lots in the past and never made a loss with any trade (ie, love this share)!!! Just look at the shareholdings for the Leaving directors. Wow some serious selling to come!!!

Leaving BOD, expect share sells;

Victor Knaap 17,546,066 shares
Wesley ter Haar 17,546,067
Christopher S. Martin 6,476,522
Scott Spirit 307,194
Paul Roy 1,950,129 shares
37,777 shares for Naoko Okumoto

These guys own an awful lot of shares. I expect some serious selling. All of them own less than 3% of S4, so now they have left the BoD they can sell without any RNS!!! IMHO, it is obvious they have left the Board so that they can sell shares!!! Stinks worse than rotten fish this latest news!!!

Wally bought in @300p, sold @200p, It's not hard to see why years later he still holds a grudge. Bitterness can eat away at you Wally.

In a 2 years from now will we all look back and regret not picking up more shares at these depressed levels? Or will S4 be swollowed by a bigger fish. SMS was asked today at the AGM if he would consider a merger with a larger company, his reply was that he would consider any credible offer, that he's not against a merger. I suspect that S4 is there for the taking, at the right price of course. Time will tell.

Lol, the share price scares shareholders all on its own, doesn't need anyone's help!!

850 to 50p in 3 years

270m to 600m shares in issue over 5 years

A growth share price rating, but with negative growth.

More than half of the BOD have decided to stand down from the responsibility. Just when the company say business will grow again.

Lots to be scared of here!!!

libertine,

Don't let the truth get in the way of wally's lies, he wants to buy in at 20p you know.

To do this he tries to scaremonger P.I.s into selling to create capitulation.

I wonder what situation leaves Directors happy with the outcome. Preparation for a move to a different listing status or listing offshore perhaps? Just speculating.

As announced on 27 March 2024 and to continue aligning our governance to a more traditional board composition, Christopher S. Martin, Victor Knaap, Wes ter Haar and Scott Spirit will all be retiring from the Board at the conclusion of today's AGM, with Wes ter Haar becoming a Board observer. THEY WILL RETAIN THEIR CURRENT ROLES WITHIN THE COMPANY, including any involvement in the Executive Committee.

wallywoo,

Wes sold at £5 a share, you think he is now going to sell at 50p ?

6 people leaving the Board. Awful lot, many of them have a large number of shares. No one joining.

Directors don't want to leave a happy ship. My guess is that selling will increase over the next few months as they reduce their holdings.

A lot more work for the numerous rampers on here, to try and keep up share demand!!! Don't listen to them, companies that always say a recovery is coming in the next quarter (when they have 5 quarters of business loss), are super high risk. Let momentum show you the way here.

S4's priority is merging (past M&A) 31 companies together, costs savings and paying down debt. So in my opinion there won't be any M&A anytime soon, unless S4 is the one to be acquired.
