Share buy back programme is not succeeding in supporting the share price.
Surprising how volatile this share has been over its life.

The problem used to be unions and threats of re nationalisation.
There are still lingering doubts about the work ethic and culture of the workforce.

Self isolation and work from home has become a godsend to the lazy.
Loafing about on full pay.
Get yourself pinged then put your feet up.
No hassle.

Some are citing Wage inflation for the drop but Tesco has twice as many Employees and many other Companies with similar number or more of employees - this is a business and employer problem across the board.

Taken a small piece at just under 4 quid. Nervous, volatile markets could well take it lower. Will look again then...

Government guidance has changed. After 10 days, if you test positive but have no symptoms then you should return to work. Covid absence has dropped massively over the last month. Disclosed shorts are less than 1%….

So basically RMG are still on target to make £800 minus the £70m restructuring charge - all a bit crazy at this price,

However, the company said its profitability target, barring the restructuring cost, remained intact for the full year.

Alex Irving, analyst at Bernstein, said that “the bear thesis of Covid absences hurting profitability looks not to be playing out”.

There's a £70 million restructuring charge hence the difference. Am I right in saying the GLS guidance profit of 400m Euros goes on top of this?

Trading Update:-



Trading in line with previous guidance of around £500 million adjusted operating profit for FY 2021-22. Including restructuring charge as outlined above, guidance is now around £430 million adjusted operating profit.

Never had an 8 hour window. Normally it's 2 - 4 hrs max and quite lower in many cases

Those figures are not comprehensive and don't cover all the services of RM. My postcode is not on that list, and never has been, yet is has reduced service.

Found Royal mail less than 70% reliable myself.

All these delivery companies have their faults.

Mostly driver related - ie knocking on the door like fannies so even if you're in you've zero chance of hearing them...

And their notification of delivery windows are simply too wide as to be utterly useless.

I don't want to have to wait around for 8 hours wasting my time to then have a light fannyesque tap at the door which I will miss and then have to go through the same process all over again the following day.
