20/1/2022 09:57 | BartyB You miss the point. Hermes are not the ones selling their business model as one of the premium service operators, RM are. Hermes are most likely one of the lowest cost operators, they will prosper even if service isn't the best. Like Ryanair in the airlines. If RM cannot deliver QOS then pricing is the only service differentiator and Hermes will win. Ignore what I say if you want to, I know you shareholders and older gents struggle with bad news, but do so at your own peril because your complacency and ignorance may cost you and your family. I've seen this loads of times on ADVFN. You just can't help yourselves. | medieval blacksmith
20/1/2022 09:56 | Below is todays delivery update. When you look at the number of areas affected it is tiny in comparison to the number of postcodes in uk. There are approximately 1.7 million Click the links below, for a daily round-up of our operation. Movement of mail through our network Deliveries today Deliveries are operating as normal across most of the country today. We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In a small number of local offices this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as COVID-related self isolation, high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. In those cases we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive. 20/1/2022 09:35 | Ha, you should try Yodel! Constantly dumping parcels 200yds from my property. To crown it all they left a 30k parcel in front of (covering) a sign saying "ensure deliveries are made to the house not dumped here" Even DPD aren't perfect. RMG, however, in my experience 100% reliable. | assagai
20/1/2022 09:25 | Hermes are worse than Royal Mail. I have had delays and often they claim I wasn't in when I was. | bartyb

17/1/2022 10:17 | "The 5 day change will also enable workers to go back to work sooner." The virus hasn't changed! 5 days is not enough. Never has been, never will be! People will be going back to work still infected. It could create a wave of more 'sickies being pulled'. Long COVID is real - 1.2M???? is it with long COVID. Imagine what drag that could be on RM. | medieval blacksmith
17/1/2022 10:14 | Difficulties will obviously lessen now as volumes will be lower and covid case numbers are decreasing by the day.The 5 day change will also enable workers to go back to work sooner. | bartyb
