08/1/2019 12:51 | productivity profits go read a recent annual report of you local water provider and compare the stats with pre privatisation stats. This is a very simple exercise. | mjones727
08/1/2019 12:44 | Says who? Give me some statistics. | minerve
08/1/2019 12:26 | Well, if that was true, and the second point was true, which they are not, at least the assets belonged to us. LOL Idiot. | minerve
08/1/2019 10:46 | By-the-way, I am not really in any political camp. I think tribal politics has damaged the UK beyond repair. JC is a disgrace IMO but at least his presence is waking up these utilities to get their acts together because if they don't we will see a Labour government and nationalisation - for better or for worse. | minerve
08/1/2019 10:41 | Now it is in the North is it? Laughable. Idiot. | minerve
08/1/2019 10:40 | "Thames lacks a “long-term strategy to replace the trunk mains”, the report found. It will take 357 years to renew the network at the current rate, even though the lifespan of the pipes is just 50 years." This has nothing to do with privatisation. The main trunks have needed to be upgraded for years even when the company was state controlled. | mjones727
08/1/2019 10:39 | great success up North | mjones727
08/1/2019 10:18 | Privatisation of the water industry has been a great success. | mjones727
08/1/2019 10:08 | Nick You need to get your facts straight rather than lambaste Labour supporters. RMG was floated by a coalition government when Liberal Vince Cable was Business Secretary. I think you will find that most complaints were because of the way it was done rather than because it was done. Labour, of course, are most likely to oppose privatisation but you can hardly blame them. Utilities, like water, and rail services have been nothing but utter f&ck-ups since they have been private. The facts speak for themselves regardless of political bias. | minerve
08/1/2019 08:33 | Interesting Fred. So RM are chasing these crooks. | encarter

07/1/2019 10:53 | At the time of flotation didn't Labour supporters claim the then Tory Govmnt had sold a gem of a business for peanuts to their friends in the city? So what happened. Was it just a Lemon they got shut of after all then? | nick rubens
06/1/2019 10:59 | do you now understand that when you said "We have already been told what full year will be so a profit warning is impossible." that this is complete and utter nonsense ??????????? Next week ? They can warn at any time until the end of march 2019 about this years earnings you fool. | mjones727
06/1/2019 07:10 | Yawn! We shall find out next week. Why not put your money where your mouth is and open another short? Cluck cluck! | encarter
05/1/2019 12:59 | mjones are you really that stupid? They reaffirmed the 500-550m mid November. They know how the business is performing, worse case is 500m. | encarter
