It isn't any different in a socialist country, trust me I have lived in one for 15 years.

Ha ha, that made me chuckle. Is your mail centre the only one that makes the £500m profit??

When they re nationalised Railtrack, American investors protested. There was a nasty court case that finished the ministerial career of Byers, the transport minister. They were forced to compensate shareholders by paying the original issue price.

The American constitution is very strong on property rights, and if the UK behaves like a third World African country, the fallout will be huge.

If Corbyn gets to power there will be a flight of capital and collapse of stirling. The realities of office will limit what he can do.
I doubt if he could do any nationalisation.

Ironic really, if we leave the EU. Corbyn would be free to re nationalise. One of the advantages of remaining is that Corbyn could not re nationalise, something he has admitted.

Online retail ignores high street gloom.

Online is the new high street and Royal Mail is in demand

The trend is your friend. Royal Mail is the pre-eminent logistics company in the UK, delivering more parcels than ALL the other parcel companies combined

"Each week in November shoppers spent £1.3bn online, a rise of 13.1pc on the year. "

There are many stockbroking firms who say Corbyn could nationalise RM and shareholders end up with nothing.

I am not alone in my views.

Show me the law that says a government has to pay the market price for the shares to nationalise ? There isn't one.

That's not what I have read.

They have no obligation to pay anything.

My broker thinks this is a real possibility and explains the continued falls.

Labour have already stated that they will issue bonds to buy the shares back but suppose they could change their minds.

If Corbyn nationalises RM he will do so at zero pence.
