Take off from Heathrow or Birmingham International at night and look out of the window.
Tens of thousands of lights from tens of thousands of windows.

Sometimes we fail to grasp the scale of the RMG operation.
They have the capability of delivering to every house in the country every day.
That includes small hamlets and remote hill farms.

As we sit around on our elbows, spare a thought for the difficulty of this task.
Over Christmas Amazon and others could not cope.
Everyone promising same day deliveries, easier said than done.

RMG is a huge important company, yet valued at a mere £2.55bn.

Difficult to imagine how many businesses could survive without the RMG backstop.
(sorry about the backstop word, we are all sick of it)
