I think based on the outline plan we saw a few years ago the majority of the cleared industrial site is intended for house building.I think the properties will be priced at the lower end of the market. The listed disused mill conversion which from memory included retail at ground floor may have to be rethought. If the £3.4m sale goes ahead it will be a start.

Re property. Robinson have 31 acres of Surplus industrial land. Contracts out for the sale of a portion of one site for £3.4M. Another site has industrial buildings let for £400K pa. There is a solid demand for warehousing land in the Midlands and I would expect to see borrowing being reduced from sales and cash flow. It would not be difficult to project a value well in excess of the current directors estimated value.

That should read recyclable not recallable.

Plugugly: Share your concerns about recycling and plastic packaging - DS Smith have sold off their main plastics division. Just checked Robinson's website and they are aiming for 100% of products to be recallable by 2022. Seems ambitious but its definitely the right way to go. My eggs now come in a recyclable plastic box, not cardboard. I'm long on RBN.

The latest purchase by RBN is on an earn out basis. Only cost 1.4 in cash at the start

1tx - OK potentially cheap on the surface but debt will have to be serviced, (net debt has increased to GBP13.1m at 31 May 2021) earnout a moveable feast which could go either way - surplus property valuation very much (imo) finger in the air and probably dependent on success or failure of Northern Power House projects - OK a 3p dividend if on register by 16th July but- if the de-plasticisation of the world goes to plan an industry slated for decline -
Cannot see much hope of growth - only increased costs as a result of trend to ESG.

Supply chain problems are getting increasingly common as a result of lockdowns & other problems;another of my holdings James Latham, the timber merchants, reported them in their results today. We are seeing them in motor industry & construction.Should "sort out" over the next year which in terms of this company is neither here nor there!Shares very cheap again if you have spare cash.....

The dividend will be next to fall or indeed pass.
Lenders will insist.

The Danish buy will prove very costly. The various headwinds were obvious in February and caution should have prevailed.
The group is now seriously burdened with debt and will need to take strong action to reduce costs

I think you are being a little harsh charo. The company is highly cash generative funding £4.5m of new plant, about £750k dividends out of cashflow and slightly reducing net debt last year seems very good to me.Esp as the company is valued at around net book tangible assets.

Overpriced acquisitions, Misdirected strategic focus,Poor executive control think heading into really turbulent times.Robinsons needed a change but not this one.
But will be 2/ 3 years before damage is noticeable and then too late.
