08/2/2017 09:50 | LCWA I think you may be right but I hope they leave it a while to see if business model works with perk rather than going full steam ahead | football
08/2/2017 09:45 | Owned and operated. App based. | lance corporal winstanley ash
08/2/2017 09:44 | Similar in what way though? Having a bunch of apps or having a very big customer who might be persuaded to advertise more broadly across R1 supply? | 1gw
08/2/2017 09:39 | I expect a few more acquisitions similar to perk. | lance corporal winstanley ash
08/2/2017 09:37 | Well, they might be a more interesting target for a competitor if they have big (rather than small) reach and poor conversion. But I agree it appears that having built the stadium and got the people filling it they now need to focus on getting advertisers to advertise in it. I presume they are doing exactly that. | 1gw
08/2/2017 09:33 | 1gw but it doesn't matter how big their footprint is in the industry as it all means sweet FA if they can't place ads on any of it | football
08/2/2017 09:18 | I'm sure there are many possible explanations football. In trying to interpret, I think you have to ask yourself how come Quantcast has estimated R1 reach over the last year or so moving about between 200m monthly US people and about 150m monthly US people, while ComScore sticks to a much tighter range around 180m monthly people. I suspect at least part of the answer lies in how R1 keep changing the segmentation within Quantcast. RMax segment got switched off at some point to be replaced by RhythmMax (Edit: or was there a RhythmXchange segment in there at some point instead or as well?). Then all the individual numerical segments came in and cluttered things up before being shifted into the new "campaign" segment. | 1gw
08/2/2017 09:09 | Could it be that as more companies adopt the vetting and filtering systems and we are all lining to one industry standard that we at 1R put in place to clean up the ad tech industry Quantcast have now adjusted the software and where before we was getting excluded or not seen by them now we are. | football
08/2/2017 09:01 | Just based on the scale of the changes really. From [edit] 3m [edit] daily US people in [edit] December to 23m in February feels too big a change to be either organic increase or the addition of Perk. They also had the smaller spike in late August. When you then take into account the remarkable lack of volatility in the ComScore reach number, it feels to me more likely to be some change to the measurement in Quantcast. | 1gw |
