Alex, what do mean they gave away 20%? As If r1 tossed it off a bridge on a drunken whim. They bought a company for that 20%. Your use of language does make me wonder sometimes, it really does.

Not at all Alex - they have great management that purchased a business at a very competitive price without parting with a penny - the last placing at 195p verses the share price today is a great comparison of management good business.

If that is true Barky then you must be furious that they gave 20% of the company away below 40p? Unless of course you believe that Perk is worth 6 times more than R1 paid for it.If that was the case then both company boards don't know how to value their own companies ... but you do? You have a credibility problem with that position.

He's certainly honest about you. If R1 is worth £2.40 today then the company gave away 20% of R1 at a knockdown price. You love the Perk deal? The two positions are incompatible.Wouldn't it be more honest to say that you believe that one day the market will value the shares at £2.40, but it is not worth that today based on its current numbers?

Gordon - I, like most people have an existence of opinions that one does not necessarily agree with....some rags on here test honesty to the limit.

You say or infer i can be disingenuous and sometimes nasty to those I feel are playing a game, whilst in fact they are the very villains I believe are deceiving those with a financial interest here....who is correct - you or me?

I do try to exterminate bullies, I agree!

I have taken a lot of criticism from yourself - but if you notice, I have never attacked you.....why?

The reason my friend is because I know you are a honest guy - not always necessary saying or doing things I agree with..but I do believe you act in a manner you believe to be honest and correct, and that is why you sometimes frustrate me - but I will not fall out with you - others on here do not reach that criteria, and I have little respect for!
