STT - I'm not here to play nursemaid to anyone. I'm not here to try to police the boards. Whatever gave you that idea? I choose from time to time to point out what I feel is particularly "bad" behaviour on these boards. Right now, I'm devoting some time to your behaviour. It's bad. You don't appear to see that it's bad and you continue to avoid answering legitimate questions on the content of your posts.

I think Alex had it about right when he said barkboo and stt are 2 sides of the same coin. It didn't use to be like that but stt seems these days to be taking more and more plays from the barkboo playbook. Perhaps inevitable after being in the minority against the rampers for so long, but still rather sad.

IMO the higher cpm rate is due to video, native and rich media coming online.

Sikh has always looked at Blinkx/1R with a critical eye, that’s going back several years now, and when the share price was much higher than today - and wasn't he proved right?!

Horsetrader and GDog had similar stances on the LSE board, a shrewd pair of posters, always worth reading, any coincidence that they seem to have been experienced investors who also ran their own businesses?

A curiosity of the last TU, if you multiply out the volume and the fill rate (and if I have my numbers right) is that the "Filled" number actually fell (from 24bn to 18bn) between 2Q and 3Q, despite 3Q supposedly being the best quarter. Now what's that about? The only (vaguely positive) thing I can think of is that they were concentrating so hard on higher value formats (cpm went up from $1.25 to $2.00) that they consciously sacrificed lower value ads, but I'm not sure that really stacks up.
