11/2/2020 16:34 | Finished off up so that’s a relief | markjb49
11/2/2020 10:58 | More negative news keeps coming in... De Monitor (Dutch investigative TV show - something like BBC Panorama) "exposed" yesterday that Renewi is running a scam where the government pays millions to RWI to recycle coffee cups and instead they dump most of it to incinerators and collect the money. Has gone a bit viral on Twitter / social media but share prices in LSE/AMX are stable so far | george stobbart
10/2/2020 10:47 | I noticed that I think Amsterdam listing likely got some falling to do | markjb49
10/2/2020 10:24 | +6% difference now between RWI.AS and RWI.L at the live currency rate | george stobbart
07/2/2020 16:28 | Unlike many I see the power in the short term catalysts over the next few months. It doesn't take much to spurn the momentum needed to push the share price up. As cliched as the advice is, patients is needed in investing. It was hard to envision the permit approval coming in before it did and predicting precise dates was impossible. But anybody who sold prior missed out on 40% growth in less than a week or 2. To not wait for one of the biggest drivers of net income on the future guidance seems ridiculous | 8robson
07/2/2020 15:15 | Well the CEO didn't have to buy 3 lot's of shares now he could have waited, so I am holding. | gnawe
07/2/2020 14:51 | Yes I believe it will be those things eg confirmation of customers and revenue forecasts which will send share price a lot higher in the longer term. The next five months is plagued with external problems from China to brexit trade agreements..... | markjb49
07/2/2020 14:22 | If they get certification then they may have customers already lined up. | gnawe
07/2/2020 13:41 | They were awaiting certification in February | gregsc
07/2/2020 13:40 | - combined impact of the coronavirus on recycling: no impact on benelux as plastic shipments to china have stopped in/out of the eu since 2018 - blocks in brexit negotiations: RWI has already taken a hit via ELWA and the dutch new import tax on waste My take on for the disappointing performance: lack of interest in the stock & failure to break-through 37p mark three times in the past few weeks which is key technical level | george stobbart
07/2/2020 13:32 | They are supposed to be launching a new product made from contaminated soil this month. Or have I got my facts mixed up. | gnawe
07/2/2020 13:21 | It was any excuse for renewi to pull back earlier this week. I sold a lot at 36.3p I’m not sure whether we are more likely to see 27.5 or 40 in the near term. The virus challenges and potential effects on the world economies are hitting stocks across the board. There is little potential good news this side of the next set of results for renewi. I can see it being more range bound than shooting up over next couple of months. Markets didn’t buy into the Amsterdam listing or the regulator details so guessing it’s about actual numbers now. Unless there are other catalysts people can see?? Long term I’m very positive about this stock, short-medium it’s anyone’s guess. | markjb49
07/2/2020 12:56 | has to be a combined impact of the coronavirus on recycling, plus eu stocks have been hit by stumbling blocks in brexit negotiations over trade deals. | 8robson
07/2/2020 11:49 | So Euronex down 0.5% and we are 2.5% can someone explain please, because I am lost. | gnawe
07/2/2020 10:27 | was hoping for some good bounce with the euronext listing to take some off but never came. this stock never fails to disappoint at least CEO buying every day gives some confidence | george stobbart
07/2/2020 07:50 | Yes good to see, all adds up to a decent holding. Have you sold now btw George or have you got 'renewed' confidence? | dplewis1
07/2/2020 07:17 | CEO keeps buying shares. 3rd tranche this week only. 3rd , 4th , 6th Feb | george stobbart
06/2/2020 15:52 | Great we are now below where we started the Euronex trading. | gnawe
05/2/2020 17:45 | OK thanks for the info. | gnawe
05/2/2020 17:36 | The UK business is dead and worthless. What is left is just 5 PFI contacts, of which Derby and ELWA have been written down to zero this calendar year. Nearly impossible to find a buyer for these onerous contracts unless RWI sells them at a heavy discount and takes another hit in goodwill. Having said that, they've been able to sell in recent years the higher quality PFIs in Cumbernauld and Dumfries And Galloway. But hard to see any buyer coming in for the onerous ones. | george stobbart
05/2/2020 17:15 | So they could sell the UK business to reduce debt maybe. | gnawe
05/2/2020 17:08 | 90% of revenues are in Netherlands & Belgium 10% in UK, but recently RWI has effectively written-down to £0 their contacts in Derby and ELWA, so this 10% will be squeezed further down next year 0% in Canada (Canada biz now sold) | george stobbart
05/2/2020 16:56 | Is it possible to split the company into two, say 60_40 Europe _ UK.Any view's | gnawe
05/2/2020 11:32 | That’s 9.5m shares traded yesterday most of them were sells. I think there will most likely be a pull back before we see any more highs | markjb49
05/2/2020 10:47 | Maybe. Hope on, but there must be 9.5 million sellers somewhere... | robsy2 |
