10/1/2020 19:23 | An hour a day watching this stock? Wow thats a lot of screen watching. I have just painted the shed if you want to come round and have a treat :-) Trouble with stock watching even with a big holding is that can start to become an addiction. | wad collector
10/1/2020 10:49 | nothing to do with me and yes I have a lot of faith in this company, I used to invest heavily in Tullow Oil - dodged a real bullet on that one in last 18 months!! | markjb49
10/1/2020 10:29 | 4 million shares?! Christ no wonder you watch it a bit.. interestingly there was a buy of 4mm earlier this morning.. | dplewis1
10/1/2020 10:15 | Was Collector I understand why you may feel this way. I spend an hour a day watching this company. I too have been investing for decades and I hold nearly 4 million shares in this company and I don’t think dragging dubious allegations against a board member is going to help the share price. So from a selfish point of view your not really doing me any favours | markjb49
10/1/2020 09:45 | All board share trading is insider dealing by definition, even though that is not the common useage. I should have used a different term.I have traded for decades but never been annoyed enough to take action previously. My concern is that his maiden trade comes immediately before the Dutch Govt makes an announcement that is price sensitive and that he or his team has clearly been involved in much discussion with that Dept. The share price had been languishing for months and he did not buy then. I am not obsessed with this and like all holders, pleased that things are progressing upwards. I will now shut up. | wad collector
10/1/2020 09:05 | How could he have insider information? Renewi already disclosed they had passed the checks and they were awaiting for government policy change. Even if he heard a leak from the Dutch government that wouldn’t be classed as insider trading as it didn’t come from within Renewi. The share price was over a £1 before this crisis broke, yes few minor other blips but the company is in a better position than it was at the time the share price was three times what it is today. It’s more common sense to buy in at today’s levels. I am surprised the price isn’t over 50p already and didn’t rise significantly in October when they confirmed they had passed all the tests. | markjb49
09/1/2020 14:37 | Check the dates ; he bought BEFORE the Dutch announcement. His maiden purchase. Perhaps just lucky? The share rns was dated 19th Dec but he bought on 16th Dec. The soil announcement 19th/20th. george stobbart8 Jan '20 - 10:19 - 953 of 967 The Government's decision was available (in Dutch only) from the previous night so practically he acted on public information, one could argue Markjb498 Jan '20 - 10:19 - 954 of 967 As the information was in the public domain and available to anyone following the government literature I can’t see it being insider trading. Yes a lot of the information was in Dutch and buried but it was there. It’s a share that has limited interest, (consider how active this board is) and therefore having the info in a nice concise easy to find is unlikely. You read about things the following day....... I have been watching this stock for nearly two years and increasing my holding - but it is frustrating at times especially when the company repeatedly set dates that don’t materialise. | wad collector
09/1/2020 12:25 | Re a listing - the head office have promised to let me know when date is known. The question is why the Shanks merger was so overpaid - | mathurin1
09/1/2020 12:21 | Maybe stupidly I have most of my money tied into this stock - so I am also hoping for a big rise. | markjb49
09/1/2020 12:17 | We need some big players to take an interest. | markjb49
09/1/2020 12:07 | I have a lot more than 14,500 shares, so I am more keen to see the share price rise. Last month, the Dutch Parliament voted for a mandatory women's quota for Supervisory Boards of listed companies. With four women on the board, I think RWI qualifies. | gregsc
09/1/2020 12:02 | With 14500 shares @ 31,83 gbx i can see a lot of difference. Any one got about the same amount of shares? | theolonghair
09/1/2020 11:56 | I think the results and revised expectations going forwards are likely to have biggest results. It’s pay day tomorrow as well 👍. Hopefully will raise future dividends which will boost share price | markjb49
09/1/2020 11:55 | Robcoo , I have asked the FCA. | wad collector
09/1/2020 11:42 | No, nothing official yet. Edison (20th Dec) suggested "an expected secondary listing on Euronext is coming shortly", Investec says the same and Renewi mgmt said "targeting a secondary listing in early 2020". No set timetable though. | george stobbart
09/1/2020 11:42 | There is no date set as far as I know. I'm also sceptical as to how much impact an Amsterdam listing will have. It's not like Dutch 'Pensioenfonds' only invest in AEX listed stocks.. if they see value they can invest anywhere. Paradice the largest insti holder is Australian.. It's possible that a roadshow or additional marketing may get RWI some attention on home territory but it's the turnaround in results that matters most. | dplewis1
09/1/2020 11:42 | Can't find a listing date anywhere. | gregsc
09/1/2020 11:32 | Is there a date set for Amsterdam listing? | markjb49
09/1/2020 11:13 | RWI normally releases a Trading Update around Jan-end each year. They might marry that RNS with the Amsterdam listing RNS or release them earlier this year to speed-up marketing, roadshows etc to Dutch and continental investors. | george stobbart
08/1/2020 15:25 | I cannot fathom how this forum is virtually dead for following Renewi- It only goes to show that a listing in Amsterdam is urgentissimo. Clearly those illuminated British traders/investors have no interest in this share. So it’s of course a great medium term buy for an institution- it has all the ingredients - a low PE,recovering from a loss and a drop of 70% in its share price ,new Dutch management, a green growth sector in waste management. Hopefully the Dutch pension funds will bring home the bacon . | mathurin1

08/1/2020 09:58 | If you are a holder, just be grateful that the share price rose. | gregsc
08/1/2020 09:46 | I agree. Why not ask them? | robcoo
08/1/2020 09:16 | Looking back at the Dutch CEO's maiden purchase of shares immediately before the Dutch Govt soil treatment announcement that was either a very lucky piece of timing or suspicious. I wonder if the FCA interested? | wad collector |
