Hardly surprising considering they have just raised 50% of their market cap. 10% discount, I can live with that. Let's see the TR1's to follow.

With an accelerated bookbuild, the offer period is open for only one or two days and with little to no marketing. In other words, the time between pricing and issuance is 48 hours or less. A bookbuild that is accelerated is frequently implemented overnight, with the issuing company contacting a number of investment banks that can serve as underwriters on the evening prior to the intended placement. The issuer solicits bids in an auction-type process and awards the underwriting contract to the bank that commits to the highest back stop price. The underwriter submits the proposal with the price range to institutional investors. In effect, placement with investors happens overnight with the security pricing occurring most often within 24 to 48 hours.

It's a book build, not a placing. They will agree price between themselves, lol

I'll still wait for the placing to put more in. I well remember HUR's placing being well oversubscribed and they only got it away at 32p that after being 60p a few weeks earlier. Anyway we'll see soon enough hope I'm wrong I usually am.

If it's only amongst institutions, they'll agree a price between themselves.
Can't see it being at a premium though.

1.10p last time, soooooooo, the same again?....I hope!!!!

All depends. If an institution want a serious chunk of RBD, they could not buy on the open market. It is held by quite a few institutions which is unusual for an AIM company with such a low market cap. These guys have built up some great assets in a relatively short period. Westy, could easily be both at a premium and over subscribed. The CEO's must have put some feelers out before committing to such a raise and will need shareholders approval. I've been adding, banking some of my METRO profits.

If they get anything above 1p in this market I'll be astonished.

Sorry got those figures wrong.

My point is, will this book build be at a premium and over subscribed ?

Christine Oil selling down UJO probably to be in RBD placing. To be fair looking at the two companies now there is only one choice - the N Sea assets I quite like, with a drill in 2020. This will be a good investment in next 12 months, with a number of potential trades to benefit from.

RNS as expected, it needs shareholder approval of course, so they can't go to low with the offer or incumbent holders will be against.

Great strategy. Will have controlling interests in possibly both projects.

How do u apply for placing ?

ccr -- some brokers are not handling the book build ie. Interactive Investors, so
you need to ring Stifel on 020771077600, speak to Ashton for guidance.

Excellent presentation - I agree this should have been made available to existing investors . Having 50% of WN is well worth the dilution imho although only time will tell

I'm guessing the original amount was for 30m, but they've reduced that to 24m given demand?

Does it not mean they are looking for 30m ether way by total capital raise or fully satisfied by issuing shares at 1.2 to Rathlin! Is it their way of saying it will/could be a mixture of both, so depending on how much cash is raised, the rest will be made up with shares.
