In addition, slide 16 shows a graph with the enlarged market cap given at $106m. Assume $/£ rate of 1.25 and that equates to £84.8m. At 1.2p per RBD share that would assume 7.07bn shares in issue and not the 8.4bn - 9.3bn given in prresentation slide 21 !!

I'm struggling to understand the numbers here. I assume that the "up to 2.6bn placing shares" that will raise up to £30m (after fees)is to be used only for future drill costs and other business purposes across all assets. It isn't for the purchase of Rathlin shares. The Rathlin purchase is covered by the 2.6bn "equity swap" but the number of share swapped seems too high. 2.6bn RBD shares at 1.2p would equate to another £30m (assuming same fees) but the equity investment and potential swap (slide 9) only adds up to £23.4m. So what has happened to the difference? (£30m - £23.4m). I can't believe it is a presentation error!!

Yes slide 21 gives it at 8/9 bill. Still more than doubled the share issue for 50% of market cap?

Yes, it's a fair whack, of course that's at 1.2p, at 1p it would be a lot more. If you believe WN is the biggest onshore since Wytch then there is serious value from here.

Will be an interesting week ahead here that's for sure. I look forward to bookbuild result's. Take control of Rathlin/West-Newton. A sign they are moving into a bigger league.Cash

Depends how strong the demand is, the company have stated previously that they wouldn't place at a lower price to the previous one, the last one was at 1.1p, but this is a much larger sum, but the prize is also a lot higher ... Would be a good result to get one away around the last.one or preferably at a premium.

Doesn't the share price usually fall to the placing price anyway post placing?

Not always the case I know and perhaps less common for companies that aren't doing it to keep the lights on but still quite likely.
