Stil 150m shares to consider, which with newsflow and some decent volume can be shifted, then its blue sky until placing shares hit desired profit levels. If Rathin doggers take the equity you would think they will stay in to the conclusion of the drilling and testing next year.

previous holding was 3.69 of previous number of shares in issue

So Miton have been selling, we know it's a corporate thing due to merger that has happened on a lot of shares. Positive is they have less than 3% so should be gone soon enough, without them we would a lot higher. Most of the sub 9 sells will be them.

Where you getting your information from Wesnewton? In a recent interview, S & S said only ONE non commercial well out of 8 drilled that RBD have been involved with, so 7 hits and only one miss so far!

Whilst we're all following West Newton, I wonder what's happening at Corallian where we now own 35%.We've invested 3.5mm pounds and drilled 3 dry/non commercial holes. The recent court case which the government lost, suggests no more drilling in Poole due to the Seahorses.I think they're out of money at Corallian and wondered if there were plans to invest more in that leaky bucket.

right, does this sound close?

was 4064 mil in issue, they had 5.88% so 239m owned

now, 6730 mil in issue and have 4.46% or 300 mil

so they have bought 60 mil at 0.9 or £540k's worth

He said they were venture capitalists. The fund had closed and they had expected a return by now. He said they were keen on WN having put the money in higher up. There were some legal issues but they wanted to exchange their share of Rathlin for a quoted company which obviously means they may want to liquidate, but he said they may not be a seller as they were very keen on WN themselves and a quoted company allows them to show the valueHe expects the issue to be decided soon, still thinking it will go thru and no change to the price of .9pTake it or leave it

lucky, thanks again.. did you get the impression the rathlin holders were after a better deal, or just that insti not actually being in a position to proceed?

Perhaps it would strengthen rdb position if they got the shareprice going a bit?

Thanks, of course it could be PIs moving some out thinking no news for a bit. But there seems no obvious reason to sell below 0.9 unless you need the cash now. Volumetrics should be out in November which will move it north, more so if it's timed with the EWT re start.

oilbuy, even if there is an oil price crash, WN is surely a low cost field, so Rbd could become an oil producer rather than selling the asset, this would be perfectly in line with Rbd's stated strategy thus providing valuable cash flow for all concerned.

"Potential methods of monetisation include an asset sale, IPO or putting the asset into production."
