Hi everyone and thanks for your concern. Just to say that I have Covid-19 but am at home and doing well. I will probably not be posting anything in the next few weeks.
Best wishes to all and look after yourselves.

FTSE 100 companies passing dividends, now all the banks not paying, Raven hopefully a safe haven for income boys with a superb yield.

Yes, every 13 weeks cheque on the doormat, always paid. Even through 2008 crisis.

Russia is taxing bank deposits to help with Corona measures , I am not suggesting it will have an impact here but really ?

Yes they have trashed the price of fixed income but unless you have a proper broker getting anything in relatively small size at a price that reflects the trashing is difficult and the spreads are nuts .

I should have added with their cash reserves it will be a case of will they want to deplete them by continuing to pay it is quite well covered but C takes preference I presume , one of our biggest (I hope) bonuses is the very large skin in the game the directors have , of course they may be so wealthy that its irrelevant to them .

This is an MM stock. They have a lot of stock to sell. Until they have offloaded it the share price will stay where it is.

Perhaps relevant I saw some announcement by Aviva about suspending a property fund it administers as in the present climate there is no way to accurately value property, so maybe that backs up what HOLTS says.
