It is clear that nobody has never mined cripto!!! The only data for buying a miner are: 1. The chip power efficiency in J/TH and no data from QBT. 2. The cost and no data from QBT. Nobody is interested in smog info like mm chip, booster, .... PS the 7% increase is not established. I'm sorry for this bad info but is the reality.

Cryptominer, QBT ha e already released performance advantage data for the 7nm ASIC chip. It's +24% +7%. To this you would then add any further improvements for incorporation of AI, which could make it a further 10x, 100x or even 1000x faster. A significant speed increase could also offset cooling needs and thus reduce power consumption per Bitcoin mined. On 5/11/2021 QBT stated:"the Company strongly believes that when compared with the best commercial 7nm ASIC chip for Bitcoin mining available on the market today, an industrial production of QBT's ASIC at 7nm, would indicate a double hash rate of 1.19TH/s, hence 24% faster.This performance of QBT's architecture on the 7nm ASIC, doesn't yet include the 7% efficiency achieved by the optimisation of the patent application filed in September, which is still to be implemented. The current work on a second patent by the Company's cryptography expert will hopefully lead to further material optimisations."

There is a long way to go with mining yet which also increases the value of Bitcoin as it becomes harder to mine, don’t forget we have several NDA to include chip 5nm manufacturer.

Ps look at all the other mining companies staking millions upon millions for the future so your argument really doesn’t stack up

idriveajag you correctly started point 1) with IF but at the moment there is no data of QBT concrete miner efficience power. Then it must be seen WHEN the QBT miner is full tested and working and how powerful will be the competitors that are always increased the power and decreased the cost. Again IF QBT miner will be better for selling this MUST be cheaper than competitors (mainly chinese that have very low cost). Too many IF for QBT worth $billions!!!! Last IF are the BTC price and that now 90% of BTC are already mined...

1) If QBTs AI can mine 10x, 100x or 1000x faster than the competition, energy prices don't matter because the win rate will be so high.

2) The AI can run on currently available chips.

3) It dosn't necessarily have to be QBTs hardware, they could outlicense.

4) They will be inundated with offers to use the tech and takeover offers.

5) QBT will be worth $billions.

Allenquatermain it is useful that you remind every day that QBT is not starting mining but, to avoid wasting time, you can post the reminder weekly because it is quite impossible that it starts mining this year. This is because: 1. The energy cost in Europe, cause embargo gas, will grow so the mined cripto will not cover the energy bills. 2. QBT has no ordered Bitmain and his delivery time are long. 3. QBT staff has no experience for running a brand new mining center (it was not able to switch on the quite plug and playdc in Serbia). 4. QBT has not made one working miner with the quantum tec and if and when done it must be tested and then start the mass production (at least two years).
