Could be due to 1 of many reasons...

Back in Dec, he (CEO) stated some IT hardware was being recieved in December 1st week, which was late, (from sept) it maybe due to that IT infrastructure set-up, location move.

Then in Jan-Feb, the crypto markets took a major dip, for thw worse..
And the UKraine war.

However, another reason could be algo conversion to quantum algo decision, followed by INTEL announcing their presentation on Feb 23rd. They may have waited for the full announcement, and made some adjustments/ tweaks to the testing. It’s a learning process as much as RnD.

Lastly, waiting on NDA signing, and facility to test.

Could be a mix...
