25/3/2024 17:22 | 'You take a Single Board Computer and plug it's IO port up the hash boards in the Rig' Exactly what MARAs control board does presumably. They have pipped QBT to the post. Method A,B and C are now dead in the water. | ![]() anddownitgoes

25/3/2024 17:20 | Nope WillIwontI QBT specifically states that they are clueless about how CGMiner works because it uses 50K lines of code so they are still wibbling about with it to make Method B work. Always with the Excuses QBT. Always with the Excuses. It's quite simple. You take a Single Board Computer and plug it's IO port up the hash boards in the Rig then you plug it's Ethernet port up the Network and connect it to your Method B as a Service. HTH. HAND. OOO. ETC. | ![]() ellipses
25/3/2024 17:17 | Boils down to do you trust MARAs firmware or QBTs? QBTs is not proven to work yet and they are struggling to get it to market, they can't even put an estimated delivery time on it. MARAs firmware increases hash, is from a reputable, proven company and has low fees. Bit of a no brainer which one a miner would choose. | ![]() anddownitgoes
25/3/2024 17:08 | As you well know, what Mara have released is a million miles away from what QBT are doing. Mara's technology is all about control systems that automatically select optimum settings on the machine to get the best output, this is something miners do manually at present although there are other automated options out there anyway. What QBT are doing is delving into the way SHA works to use AI etc. rather than brute force, a bit like a blunders v a high velocityinfra red sniper.Of course you know this AIM, but twisting things for your agenda is more important than honesty and yhd harm you cause to innocent investors. Shame on you. | ![]() jamerson5

25/3/2024 15:46 | Looks pretty impressive the MARA control board and I would say is now a major direct competitor for QBT. Difference being their tech works, is available and comes from a trusted name. | ![]() anddownitgoes
25/3/2024 15:08 | Copied from LSE from a user called 'BrewHaHa'. Mara have released their own firmware that works on various miners and improves various elements including hash rate. Game over for QBT? They have just released their own super-duper firmware and are also offering it to other miners. Fort Lauderdale, FL, March 25, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:MARA) ("Marathon" or "Company"), one of the world’s largest publicly traded Bitcoin miners and a leader in supporting and securing the Bitcoin ecosystem, today launched MARAFW and MARA UCB 2100, industry leading firmware and a control board designed to improve the performance, efficiency, and versatility of various Bitcoin mining rigs. MARAFW is custom firmware designed to optimize the individual chip settings of Bitcoin miners, providing an opportunity to improve their performance and efficiency while stabilizing operations. MARAFW offers several key features that seek to optimize Bitcoin miners, including increasing hash rate while maintaining optimal efficiency and allowing for quick auto-tuning or manual customization of settings for targeted performance. It provides options for overclocking to assist in boosting bitcoin production or underclocking for improved efficiency. Additionally, MARAFW includes intelligent thermal protection to defend miners against overheating, thereby protecting their longevity. MARAFW is compatible with the majority of stock control boards, as well as Marathon’s MARA UCB 2100. | ![]() anddownitgoes
