26/11/2014 13:15 | 196 will see me back in at the same buy in price as June. | wad collector
26/11/2014 10:11 | Looking like might be time to buy back in . That half yearly report looked pretty neutral. | wad collector
20/11/2014 10:48 | Added a few so they are in joint names for nearby AGMs. Divi seems well covered and a divi policy stated for income seekers. Unfortunately we won't wake up to a peaceful world tomorrow. z | zeppo
15/10/2014 12:17 | He must be good if he is worth that much to BBY - and they are a firm with good management judgement :-) I am wondering whether this is an opportunity buy back in , or a warning of things to come. | wad collector
15/10/2014 11:57 | Wad No doubt Leo will feather the nest. BBY will have to sell Parsons to pay his salary and give him a "hello" offer as I see he says he is only taking his "normal" pay from QQ. up to date of leaving 31 December and lapsing his options. Last year's Annual accounts (2014) show his total remuneration was £2.177m (Base salary 610k, Annual bonus 710k, LTIP 644k) compared with £4m in 2013 (Base 593k, Annual Bonus 896k, LTIP 2302k).Thought they might have stopped the buyback so that the EPS does not increase too much. Hope he has not left too big a hole in the forward orders! Linhur | linhur
15/10/2014 09:04 | Plunged on news of CEO going to BBY - and an "inline" notice. Is he that good? | wad collector
12/9/2014 15:29 | Got 228.1 ; the highest trade of the last 3 months. So far... | wad collector
12/9/2014 12:19 | Good luck wad collector. You may be right to come back in when it weakens but we stay put, for income, hoping that this will continue to grow the divi. I have usually burned my fingers going in and out. I usually pay too much to our broker. (Edited at 15.27 reaching your target price). z | zeppo
12/9/2014 10:05 | If it reaches 228 then I am out of here again - a quick 12% + divi will do me. I remain unconvinced that QQ share price will soar much unless something radical changes. Maybe I will be proven wrong , but I think there will be sufficient weakness ahead to buy back in at a discount. | wad collector
27/8/2014 11:57 | We appear to be on a bit of a surge - 3 month high - and rising fast. I am tempted to take some profits , but maybe I should ride this wave a bit longer. | wad collector
15/8/2014 12:17 | Disappointed with Linhur's report on the QQ. meeting. In BA. and QQ. MRCH put on a good spread. z | zeppo
15/8/2014 11:40 | Wad No sandwiches and only expensive biscuits - after all it was 5 star hotel! However you could view the ladies on the sun loungers in the spa area! I want to build up my defence sector investments as no doubt at some point I would expect the new "cold war" will get a bit hotter. I have had a small no. of QQ. since they floated. I like to go to live AGM shows as you can get a better view of the board and the message they are trying to communicate either in open meetings or in after meeting discussions. You have to do some homework so that don't appear a complete buffoon. Unfortunately the vibes from QQ. were not good. The UU. meeting was the complete opposite where questions were comprehensively answered and the chairman and executive directors were very assured on their strategy. However refreshments still keep going downhill!! Regards Linhur | linhur
15/8/2014 11:19 | Thanks for that - hope the sandwiches were good! Or could they not procure any? I suspect directors must hate shareholder meetings ; I am impressed that you went. | wad collector
04/8/2014 10:46 | Wad Very disappointing meeting. About 15 private investors. Most questions were about number of directors and their pay. It would appear that it will be difficult to grow the company in the current climate and new MOD procurement policy. They were pleased to escape from USA as they were uncompetitive - too small to compete with large coys and too big to get benefit of small coy incentives. Disappointed that CEO was last in the room, only said two sentences in answer to a question and was first out of the room. Looks like waiting for a bid to take QQ out of its misery. Came home and sold my shares. regards linhur | linhur
22/7/2014 13:03 | IMS in line, caused a little excitement in the share price - currently up 2% to 211 . Perhaps of most interest a guarded statement; Outlook The outlook for the full year to 31 March 2015 is unchanged from that set out in the preliminary results on 22 May 2014. Notwithstanding the strong performance in EMEA Services last year, the MOD transformation programme is likely to create some short-term uncertainty in the UK defence market, and the division's performance as a whole is expected to remain steady this year. At the same time there is a wide range of possible outcomes for the performance of Global Products as the division has a lumpy revenue profile which is dependent on the timing and shipment of key orders. Although newer products are recording notable milestones, the drawdown of American overseas military forces is expected to continue to depress demand for conflict-related products, and the division is unlikely to see significant benefits from the repositioning of its US operations until later in the year. | wad collector
29/5/2014 10:31 | At least it is showing a profit again , though the dividend rise still doesn't excite my pension fund. Tempting to sell out for a quick 5% , but I must learn to hold onto my winners for longer.... | wad collector
29/5/2014 10:05 | Price recovering possibly from buy-backs. Still need some positive contract news! z | zeppo
22/5/2014 11:24 | A divi rise and share buy-back to follow - which IMHO should 'firm' the divis a little. What cash back could have been given with £160m though??? z | zeppo
16/5/2014 11:47 | 196 bought back in ; hopefully see another 10% or so in a year. | wad collector
15/5/2014 09:31 | Six month low tempting me back in. Not sure about the prospective yield here ; won't bet the farm on it. | wad collector
30/4/2014 12:57 | 22nd May Preliminary Results. Hope to see another divi rise. z | zeppo
30/4/2014 11:29 | Getting into my buyback territory finally. Been out a while. | wad collector
27/2/2014 11:30 | 220p a key resistance/support from floatation onwards. | malcontent
14/1/2014 11:07 | Interesting times. Two brokers retain Buy one Hold. Different expectations from 210p to 255p z | zeppo |
