Is this morning's sharp rise about a couple of broker notes?

This sector is a tough one to call at the moment, the marker is very bearish, are we near the bottom or only part way through an overreaction ?

I already hold COB and bought ULE recently.

BAB is also tanking but I don't want to own everything in the sector !!

The cash position at QQ. is a massive plus and is quite a rare situation for a business in this sector.

Glancing at the Times? ( whilst in a café. I skim all sorts of business pages when out) { yesterday's share market} some broker is recommending BA. - expecting it to get to £7.9+. New contracts expected.

Local gossip is that the present QQ. board are allegedly, very generous on themselves - with 1st class flying and high class hotel accommodation. If it is the case and they get results then they may well deserve it. Can ordinary shareholders also expect lavish treatment?

Sorry don't know either. 3 director buys yesterday FWIW here , think I shall join them if it dips below £2 again.

Shares in BAe and other defence stocks are down. I decided the fall in QQ was overdone and bought in today. I don't like BAe but I'm looking at Cohort and Ultra any thoughts on these?

I don't get this drop. The cash reserves are down , explanation is given , but cannot see much else bad. Healthy EPS.

Interims look fine.

The recent fall in the share price looks overdone.

Results look solid enough and manage a modest increase in int div from 2.0p to 2.1p.

Don't normally take a lot of notice of Directors dealings , but there is a consistent buying pattern here;

8 different directors have bought 130k shares in the last year and NONE of them have sold any .That is an unusual pattern.

British defense industry company QinetiQ and Estonian defense solutions provider Milrem have signed a cooperation agreement on the fringes of the DSEI 2017 defense and security industry fair in London and according to the agreement the companies will jointly develop different defense-related robotics solutions, informs LETA/BNS.
