22/5/2018 17:00 | ttg , you can't time every deal perfectly , be happy with your profit , and who can say that you won't be buying back at a significant discount soon? I wonder how long the recent market rally will last; not sure it is really based on sound economics. | wad collector

24/4/2018 11:43 | Ok np. No predictions. I'll hang on and ride for a while, div and results to come. | calabrian
24/4/2018 09:45 | My predictions are not worth reading! I am holding for now partly because my trading approach has missed some bigger gains and resulted in my holding onto a number of lemons....like Interserve , Carillion, Provident Finance , Inmarsat and various banks. Never buy shares you cannot afford to lose... | wad collector
24/4/2018 09:33 | Hi Wad,Do you see a return to 320p. My investment is starting to break even after a longish hold. Worth holding to through 250 and upwards? It's had a good run over the last couple of months. Will it falter? It dropped a long way from 320...... | calabrian
24/4/2018 08:33 | Market likes the German acquisition. 5 month high but way off last yr's 320p yet. | wad collector

13/4/2018 10:30 | If you look at the 2 yr chart then you would not pick this out as a selling point. But you would on a 2 month chart! Depends if you have long term confidence in the company and whether you mind risking being locked out. My trading strategy has probably not been good for my portfolio so am trying to give it up. | wad collector
13/4/2018 09:05 | bank the nice profit and hope to buy back later or for once in my life be patient ?????? | ttg100
05/4/2018 14:18 | Just noticed this from last week; Pre-close statement and update on LTPA 29 March 2018 QinetiQ Group plc ('QinetiQ' or 'the Group') today issues an update before entering its closed period for the full year ending 31 March 2018. The Group maintains its expectations for overall performance for FY18. Underlying trading in both the EMEA Services and Global Products divisions was as expected during the final quarter of the year. QinetiQ's largest contract is the 25-year Long Term Partnering Agreement (LTPA) with the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD), signed in 2003 and running until 2028 with five-year repricing points. The Group is in detailed and constructive repricing discussions with the MOD regarding the operation and management of 15 LTPA sites and facilities not covered by the amendment signed in December 2016. Given the number of the facilities involved in the discussions, QinetiQ and the MOD have developed an interim pricing arrangement for twelve months beginning 1 April 2018, covering QinetiQ's continued delivery of test, evaluation and training support services. This interim arrangement will be under existing LTPA contract terms. The Group is confident of successfully concluding the repricing discussions within this twelve month timeframe. As stated in the trading update on 8 February 2018, the EMEA Services division is bidding for a number of new opportunities with UK Government that will enable enhanced capability while also driving cost efficiencies. We are now the sole bidder negotiating with the UK MOD regarding the Engineering Delivery Partner programme which we will deliver in partnership with Atkins and BMT. QinetiQ's preliminary results for the full year ending 31 March 2018 will be announced on the 24 May 2018. | wad collector
