11/8/2017 10:05 | Worth noting that wafer prices have continued to firm up. And that polysilcion prices have risen 12% in the last week, after previous weekly rises. This bodes well for selling down the existing polysilicon stocks. | cjohn
19/7/2017 16:06 | ST tipped these again today saying not much downside as stock and cash worth ~20p minus current year's operating. | paleje
17/7/2017 12:51 | Legal costs as well one presumes... | zcaprd7
17/7/2017 11:47 | Am i right that they would also be liable to interest costs as well for late payment? Given the 10 year gap you'd imagine it would have compounded up to a reasonable amount? | the stigologist
17/7/2017 11:32 | Which in turn, explains the vague "multiple of market cap" message they hang on the size if the award... | zcaprd7
17/7/2017 11:29 | Well, it's interesting in that's they don't challenge that a payment is due, but they are arguing over the size of payment? | zcaprd7
16/7/2017 22:28 | It does look potentially relevant Eezymunny.... However I've had a long day, and I'm struggling to determine the potential consequences- if any- for PVCS here. It sounds like a messy situation anyhow. | pastybap
16/7/2017 21:53 | Au contraire zcaprd7. "The Group has a significant outstanding long term sales contract with one of the world's leading PV companies which has failed to purchase wafers in line with its obligations since 2013" I've had a strong gut feeling that Hanwha Q Cells is the counterparty for some time, and in that case this is relevant. See my thread... | eezymunny
16/7/2017 21:33 | It's a bit old? It might relate to one of the previous legal wins? | zcaprd7
15/7/2017 20:37 | Is this relating to the PVCS arbitration? ''In july 2013, Q CELLS filed an arbitration claim in Frankfurt, Germany, against the insolvency administrator of Q Cells SE regarding the dispute over the adjustment to the purchase price for certain assets of Q Cells SE acquired by Q CELLS, and certain liabilities related thereto assumed by Q CELLS, pursuant to the asset purchase agreement by and among the insolvency administrator, Hanwha Solar Germany GmbH (predecessor of Q CELLS) and Hanwha Chemical dated August 26, 2012. The insolvency administrator claims that it is entitled to receive in aggregate approximately US$93.1 million as the purchase price adjustment and the payments for related claims and other adjustments (excluding interest and legal fees), while Q CELLS claims that it is only obligated to pay in aggregate approximately US$19.2 million as the purchase price adjustment and the payments for related claims and other adjustments (excluding interest and legal fees). The arbitration is currently pending at the arbitral tribunal.'' | flyfisher
13/7/2017 17:19 | Which is unusual. Pretty tight ship usually... | zcaprd7
13/7/2017 13:06 | This is being bought and AT traders as well, suggests some degree of insider | gersemi
13/7/2017 13:03 | The strategic review closes once judgement received, they've managed cash quite well it seems. Can't be much inventory left? Perhaps they will mbo the German bit, and redistribute the left overs?End of Q3 is by September, they do Calender year, not financial. | zcaprd7
13/7/2017 12:54 | my comment was because for some companies Q1 starts end of March | spob
13/7/2017 12:12 | Trades this morning surely suspicious. | eeza
13/7/2017 12:11 | "The judgement is expected before the end of Q3 2017." One would have thought that the Strategic Review would not take long to complete - they've been at it long enough already & should have envisioned the possible outcomes of the Judgement, surely. | eeza
13/7/2017 12:10 | "The Group's net cash position at 30 June 2017 was EUR27.9m (EUR28.8m on 31 December 2016)." Unfortunately they don't state the inventory position so it's hard to make a revised call on the current potential distribution. | frazboy
13/7/2017 12:09 | End of Q3 which of course is the end of Sept. | gersemi
13/7/2017 12:06 | end sept or end Dec ? | spob
13/7/2017 12:04 | RNS - closure of UK operations. Legal update end Sept | gersemi
13/7/2017 11:49 | Good volume so far today? | zcaprd7
13/7/2017 09:16 | There is news imminent, but whether it's good or bad is the question to be answered. | eeza
13/7/2017 08:36 | There could be news imminent. The share price is beginning to trend upwards. Assume the brace position. | hedge fund harry
10/7/2017 12:50 | Assuming they win the case, which I am pretty much banking on! I am guessing that they will prepare the business for winding up and then release a single RNS which will take time. They have gradually unwound all their long term liabilities and traded down their excess Polysilicon so they are now at a point where they can do that. | salpara111 |
