05/6/2023 11:01 | "Accordingly, as a result of these factors, the amount of the Net Cash Proceeds to be returned to Shareholders could be more or less than is currently anticipated and, in the event that the gross amount of cash retained at Completion is less than £5.5m or unanticipated liabilities arise which cannot be recovered, it is possible that Shareholders would not receive the amount anticipated or any return at all." Two weeks after the company made the above statement, Lecram came out and said the position of the company was worse than expected. Seems clear the incentive for management is to kitchen sink all the bad news now and get the cash balance below £5.5m so they don't have to pay anything out to shareholders. | ![]() tabhair

05/6/2023 08:00 | "Purplebricks will retain up to a maximum of £5.5m of its cash reserves at deal completion and these net proceeds will be returned to Purplebricks shareholders following transaction costs." Do we envisage more than a penny a share coming back? Could be possible if the sum is £3million plus, but up to £5.5 million could end up as diddly squat! | ![]() naked trader
