It will need a statement of real substance to do that. However when it comes it could hit 5p.

TW is for sale, always has been - Phe down circa 30% since he tipped it, which is odd because it has all the hallmarks of companies that he generally rubbishes.

Trust me guys, Superg1 does his homework, I have him to thank for a nice profit on £VRS and I should have listened to him here while I was still in profit and got out earlier. It's gone down since I did so it just goes to prove it's never too late to get out of a bad stock. Now Winnifroth is ramping it as well, another red flag. Anyway, it looks like there's a real movement towards cutting plastic in packaging, finally, thanks to Blue Planet so it's less than evens that by the time (or more likely, if!) this technology actually works there will be enough plastic waste to gasify to make it viable. As a concerned greenie, I hope not.

I didn't lose my shirt but this has still been an expensive lesson in not buying into your personal hopes as far as the stock market is concerned.

superg1,
But your still spending your days researching PHE and posting on this tread.

Where as 'warwicks' blatant ramping post were to be ignored as noise. An inteligent poster who spends so much effort de-ramping a share when he could be researching and making money else where ! its a buy flag for me.

Thanks.

No advice intended

"As a big buyer and user of the kit what would be your first question."

PHE are not intending to sell their machines. They are going to use them to generate electricity and hydrogen to sell.

Plastic is huge problem and hence loads are taking action over it. EG Unilever looking at a 20% cut.

The Supermarket bag thing has resulted in a 90% drop in use and now they are going to extend it to all shops re charging for bags.

That's not the issue here for now though extensive running by an independent to demonstrate it doesn't fail is what is needed. Months of continuous testing. This is sector littered with fails including PHEs very own Pyromex.

There is no evidence to suggest that has ever happened. If it has why not say so. They have never indicated that they will put it through such tests yet.

So how can you say something will stand up to 22 hours per day month in month out year in year out when it's never been tested.

As a big buyer and user of the kit what would be your first question.

Does it work. Can you give us details of extensive independent tests.

Then look back at the company history re claiming it worked.

Talk is easy, walking isn't so easy.

If it's the world beater they claim run the tests, prove it. At that point, the backers and investors will be there IF the tests are by a reliable recognised totally independent authority, not a mate of a mate or anyone connected to the company.

Let's see how it goes this year but history says delays on promises by quite a margin.

I can engage and talk to who I like and tell someone how great it is. My friend did that in a £100 mill deal on tech they knew damn well didn't work. They were hoping by the time the deal was signed they could get it working.

They lost out to another company. That company couldn't match the efficiency so got on word and typed in new figures to beat them with no evidence to support it. NO one could challenge it as it was in house testing and confidential.

Funny how they came up with that overnight just as they were about to sign with someone else.

BTW the bottle thing is just saying that type of 'waste' is not appropriate.

Want they want us to stick in our recycling bins is done for a reason because there is value in it. We all get a list.

Some don't follow the full list but most of the unwanted stuff ends up at the tip.

EG long ago I thought what a good idea green bags for garden waste (we pay for them). I stupidly thought they may be composting it for the greater good and sell it on. Nope it goes to the tip it's just an earner on the green bag sales.

Looking up the price of a tonne plastic bottles now, superg1

I think you like this company sooooooo much to spend sooooooo much time putting together a bear case.

After a long four / five years of holding ....... you have persuaded me to buy more.

Thanks.

Prices to buy collected plastic bottles for recycling. That's why we have recycling as it makes money in that case.

So my point is it seems if you want tonnes of plastic bottles you have to pay for them not get paid for taking them. EG the high priced ones currently are clear plastic bottles at £170 per tonne and natural HDPE bottle at £380 per tonne.

superg1 sorry for being thick but the prices you quote, are they what the recycling plants receive from councils etc. for taking their waste or what sorted waste is sold for?

You are missing get point gate fees for waste and the notes that have included such revenue.

EG plastic bottles no gate fees there then you have to buy it.

Recovered plastic prices

• Clear PET bottle prices averaged around £153 per tonne over the past 12 months. Prices have recently reached £170 per tonne, the highest price point seen since November 2014.

• Coloured PET bottle prices averaged around £35 per tonne over the past 12 months. Prices reached a 3 year high of £53 per tonne in November 16, but have remained low throughout most of 2017, currently trading at around £26 per tonne.

• Natural HDPE bottle prices have averaged around £366 per tonne over the past 12 months. Prices rose slowly throughout 2017 and are currently trading at around £380 per tonne.

Waste arrives as mixed, is screened into types before gasifying.

No one is suggesting that metals and glass will be gasified together

Anyway, mute now as Phe is only interested in tyres and plastics.

It has always been known that you cannot gasify metals and glass, and various other things. If household waste is to be processed it has to be segregate into various categories first. The idea that streams of mixed household waste can be thrown into the gasifier is just mental, and I'm sure that was never what KA intended in his statements.
