FXPro, remind us all where you put the short on. How much a penny?

You actually don't know what you're doing, do you. Every time you say "it's not looking good for the bulls" I buy more and make more money. Please don't go away any time soon.

Looks good to stay above 1300. I added a few. Quite nice have a share slowly go up without too much attention. means there arent any? traders creating spikes.

Although bits surprised its so quiet on a fairly good day :)

I personally don't think bombarding with ads is a great strategy to keep the punters on your website. The best promoters will be your clients and having a fantastic trading experience will allow your clients to advertise the companies through good reviews and word of mouth.

However, this business is very cyclical and you only have a small window of high volatility every 10 years or so getting most number of eyeballs on the platform by mass advertising might still be the right strategy.

The attrition rate will be much higher though through this mass advertising so on balance not too sure... Its too complicated for me to work out anyway...

@simplethesis and others. What's your take on eToro vs Plus500/others?

Seems that the crazy marketing spent has at least attracted some in the short term.

12-1300 always looked a bit of a struggle, but as long as we finish about 1300 looks good to 15-1600 before next resistance.

It is not insider knowledge. Wouldn't be speaking about it especially in a forum if it would be.

Everybody on the market has access to this set of data. Just takes a bit of effort and brain to figure it out. I have been running e-commerce startups since many years, so with time you learn how to assess traction of your competition.

Trader KRK -

[1] your interpretation of his comment about April is helpful, thankyou
[2] I consider new customer numbers to be material and price sensitive. They have not been published since the end of March, as far as I can see. If you have those numbers, I believe you to be in possession of inside information. I do not want to be made inside on XTB or any other stock.

He didn't say it, as he cannot without official RSN. He made a funny pronunciation mistake though in an interview during the weekend. In Apri...ehhh Q1 was a record for us ;).

On source of customer data - I know how this sounds, but I cannot reveal the source. They not allowed to publish this data. But my evidence very strong. More than just a simple triangulation of visits data/ google trends.

TraderKRK - What's the source of your new customer data? Did Mr Arnaout say that in the video he did? My Polish is poor....

@TravellingTrader I have quite strong backed up data on this. In April plus beginning of May # of new daily accounts grew roughly 42% faster than in March (which was by itself a great month for both XTB and Plus500).
